Abstract

Novel is one of literary work that can expressed with the wishes of the author, and presented clearly. It is not only contains an interesting story, but it also contains a moral message for the readers. The paper entitled “The Description of Some Intrinsic Elements of Jojo Moyes’ After You” is about some intrinsic elements in a literary work consist of theme, character, and point of view. After You is a sequel to Me Before You. It is tells about Louisa Clark’s life after Will Traynor died. Many things is out of her expectation happens. One of the is presence of Lily, Will’s daughter. In this paper, the writer is using the method of intrinsic approach.

Novel adalah salah satu karya sastra yang diekspresikan dengan harapan penulis, dan di paparkan secara gamblang. Novel tidak hanya berisikan sebuah cerita yang menarik, tetapi juga berisikan sebuah pesan moral untuk para pembacanya. Kertas karya yang berjudul “The Description of Some Intrinsic Elements of Jojo Moyes’ After You” ini membahas tentang kehidupan Louisa Clark setelah kematian Will Traynor. Banyak hal yang di luar dugaannya terjadi. Salah satunya adalah kehadiran Lily, anak perempuan Will. Dalam kertas karya ini, penulis menggunakan metode dari penelitian pendekatan intrinsik.
