A Description of Love Matter in David Nicholls’s Novel One Day

Abstract

The title of this paper is A Description of Love Matter in David Nicholls’s Novel One Day. The research problem was formulated based on the love matter between Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew. In this study the authors uses descriptive qualitative method to describe the love matter that was presented in the novel. In this novel told about dishonesty, selfishness, and cheating between two main characters. Also, how they solve their problem of love. The results were expected to provide benefits to the reader information about the relevant information about love matter in the novel.

Judul makalah ini adalah A Description of Love Matter dalam Novel One Day karya David Nicholls. Masalah penelitian dirumuskan berdasarkan pada masalah cinta antara Emma Morley dan Dexter Mayhew. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan masalah cinta yang disajikan dalam novel. Dalam novel ini diceritakan tentang ketidakjujuran, keegoisan, dan kecurangan antara dua karakter utama. Juga, bagaimana mereka memecahkan masalah cinta mereka. Hasilnya diharapkan memberikan manfaat kepada pembaca informasi tentang informasi yang relevan tentang masalah cinta dalam novel.
