Abstract

This paper entitled A Description of Moral Values in Jason Mraz Love Album.The main focus of this research is to find the moral values contained in the lyrics of Jason Mraz Love album.This paper applied descriptive qualitative research methods. The data source of this research is a Jason Mraz Love album. The technique used to describe the data by: 1. read the lyrics carefully and repeatedly. 2. Understand the content of lyrics. 3. Listening. 4. write and make some note,interpret the meaning and make conclusion.. The result of the study is presented in the form ofparagraphs. In the song’s lyrics ofJason Mraz Love Album, the autors found 3 data in form of Sincerity and 2 data in the form of peach-loving. Moral values also refer to somethingthat is good or bad. One communicate with each other with a standart of moral ethical. So, the moral is a good way to behave well in life.

Makalah ini berjudul “A Description of Moral Value in Jason Mraz Love album” . Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam lirik album Jason Mraz Love. Makalah ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitianiniadalah album Jason Mraz Love.Teknik yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan data dengan: 1. Membaca lirik dengan seksama dan berulang-ulang. 2. Memahami isi lirik. 3. Mendengarkan. 4. Tulis dan buat beberapa catatan, interpretasikan makna dan buat kesimpulan . Hasil penelitian disajikan dalam bentuk paragraf. Dalam lirik lagu Jason Mraz Love Album, para penulis menemukan 3 data dalam bentuk Ketulusan dan 2 data dalam bentuk peach-loving. Nilai moral juga mengacu pada sesuatu yang baik atau buruk. Satu berkomunikasi satu sama lain dengan standar etika moral. Jadi, moral adalahcara yang baik untuk berperilaku baik dalam hidup.
