Alasan Penyalahgunaan Napza pada Remaja Putra di Panti Sosial Pamardi Putra " Insyaf" Lau Bakeri Kecamatan Kutalimbaru Kabupaten Deli Serdang Tahun 2009

Abstract

NAPZA (Narkotika, Psikotropika dan Zat Adiktif lain) adalah bahan/zat/obat yang bila masuk kedalam tubuh manusia akan mempengaruhi tubuh terutama otak/susunan saraf pusat, sehingga menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan fisik, psikis, dan fungsi sosialnya karena terjadi kebiasaan, ketagihan (adiksi) serta ketergantungan (dependensi) terhadap NAPZA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat alasan penyalahgunaan NAPZA pada Remaja Putra di Panti Sosial Pamardi Putra “Insyaf” Lau Bakeri Kecamatan Kutalimbaru Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini bersifat survei deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel (total sampling) sebanyak 69 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab responden dalam penyalahgunaan NAPZA umumnya karena faktor teman sebaya (75,4%), faktor tersedianya NAPZA (47,8%). faktor lingkungan keluarga, yang tidak memiliki waktu komunikasi (59,4%), faktor sekolah, tidak mempelajari tentang bahaya NAPZA (63,8%), faktor masyarakat, tinggal di lingkungan pengguna NAPZA (43,5%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan kepada remaja pada saat menghadapi masalah sebaiknya dipecahkan oleh orang yang ahli/dipercaya supaya tidak mudah untuk mengalihkan pikiran terhadap penyalahgunaan NAPZA dan kepada petugas panti agar dapat memberikan pengajaran yang lebih kepada remaja agar tidak mudah terpengaruh kepada teman untuk menggunakan NAPZA, apabila keluar dari panti seperti penguatan spiritual dan disiplin.
