    Lexical Features in The Certified Translation oF The 1945 Constitution of The Republic of Indonesia

    Abstract
    This research entitled Lexical Features in The Certified Translation of The Constitution of Republic Indonesia of 1945. The objectives of this research are: (1) to find out kind of lexical features are used in The Certified Translation of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945; (2) to find out the most dominant lexical features used in The Certified Translation of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this research are words. The data of this research were collected manually from the data source, The Certified Translation of The Constitution of Republic Indonesia of 1945. In analyzing the collected data, this research uses the data analysis techniques developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) and the theory of categorizing lexical features in legal language by Crystal and Davy (2013). There are 30 data in this analysis. The findings of this research show that there are two important things. First, there are four lexical features are found: 2 archaisms, 11 technical terms, 4 synonymy, and 13 foreign words. The second, the most dominant lexical features in The Certified Translation of the Constitution of Republic of Indonesia of 1945 is foreign word (43,3%). Followed by technical term (36,7%), synonymy (13,3%), and archaism (6,7%).
     
    Penelitian ini berjudul Lexical Features in The Certified Translation of The Constitution of Republic Indonesia of 1945. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk menetahui jenis fitur leksikal dalam Terjemahan Bersertifikat dari Undang-undang Dasar Republik Indonesia 1945; (2) untuk mengetahui fitur leksikal yang paling dominan dalam Terjemahan Bersertifikat dari Undang-undang Dasar Republik Indonesia 1945. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah kata. Data penelitian diambil dari sumber data, Terjemahan Bersertifikat dari Undang-undang Dasar Republik Indonesia 1945. Dalam menganalisis, digunakan teknik analisis data yang dikembangkan oleh Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana (2014) dan teori kategorisasi fitur leksikal oleh Crystal dan Davy (2013). Ada 30 data dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua hal penting. Pertama, terdapat empat fitur leksikal: 2 archaism, 11 technical term, 4 synonymy dan 13 foreign words. Sementara itu, fitur leksikal yang paling dominan dalam Terjemahan Bersertifikat dari Undang-undang Dasar Republik Indonesia 1945 adalah foreign word (43,3%). kemudian technical terms (36,7%), synonymy (13,3%), lalu archaism (6,7%)
