dc.description.abstract | The thesis entitled“Improving Asy-Syafi’iyah International Students’ Vocabulary Through Simon Says Game: A Case Study” this research was conducted by using Simon says game. The subject of this research was grade 3 C of Asy-Syafi’iyah International Medan which consisted of 29 students. The object of this research was to implementation the students vocabulary through Simon says game. This Researcher aimed to know the ability of the students in Asy-Syafi’iiyah International Medan in learning vocabulary thorugh Simon says game. This research used a descriptive qualitative method to describe the ability for the students that used technique of interview and observation sheet. Based on the research , the students of Asy-syafi’iyah International Medan have no difficulties in learning vocabularies by using “Simon Says” game. The students were so happy, more active, enthusiastic, enjoyable and pay attention the subject that the teacher taught. The students also felt spirit in learning vocabularies by using Simon Says Game. So, it could be concluded that the results of this research showed that the implementation of Simon Says Game in teaching-learning process could improve the students’ vocabularies. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Tesis berjudul “Meningkatkan Kosa kata Siswa Internasional Asy-Syafi'iyah Melalui Permainan Simon Says: Studi Kasus” penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan permainan kata Simon. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 3 C Asy-Syafi'iyah International Medan yang terdiri dari 29 siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan kosa kata siswa melalui permainan kata Simon.Peneliti ini bertujuan untukmengetahui kemampuan siswa di Asy-Syafi'iiyah International Medan dalam belajar kosa kata melalui permainan kata Simon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa yang menggunakan teknik wawancara dan lembar observasi. Berdasarkan penelitian, siswa Asy-syafi'iyah International Medan tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar kosa kata dengan menggunakan permainan “Simon Says”. Para siswa sangat senang, lebih aktif, antusias, menyenangkan dan memperhatikan pelajaran yang diajarkan guru. Para siswa juga merasakan semangat dalam belajar kosa kata dengan menggunakan Simon Says Game. Jadi, dapat di simpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Simon Says Game dalam proses belajar-mengajar dapat meningkatkan kosa kata siswa. | en_US |
