Aim : The purpose of this study was to discover the differentiation of estrogen receptors expression in High Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma with Low Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma Methods : This study is a cross sectional design to assess the differentiation of estrogen receptor expression in High Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma with Low Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma, This research was conducted at H Adam Malik Hospital Medan starting from Februari 2019 until the number of samples was fulfilled. Population of this study was histopatology paraffin block from sampel that had been diagnose with High Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma and Low Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma. Then an imunohistichemical examination with estrogen antubody was performed to obtain the expresion of estrogen receptor. The data obtained was assessed by the Allred Score and then analyzed statistically with SPSS. Results : The results of the study showed that, of the 30 samples in the HGSOC group, there were 25 positive expressions of estrogen receptors (83.1%). Meanwhile, in the LGSOC subject group, there were 27 subjects (90%) who showed a positive amount of expression on estrogen receptors. Using the Fischer's exact test shows that there was no significant difference in the expression of estrogen responder in the two study groups (p = 0.706). Conclusion : Based on this study , from The fisher Exact test for Estrogen Receptor Expression , From Allred score there was no significant difference between the amount of estrogen receptor expression in the two study group.
