Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Ekspor Cengkeh di Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The aim of the research was to analyze the influence production of cloves, total population of clove export destination country, Gross Domestic Product of clove export destination country, distance between Sumatera Utara Province with clove export destination country, and exchange rate of clove export destination country in US$ to clove export value in the Sumatera Utara Province from 2011 to 2015 in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, United States, India, United Kingdom, and Taiwan. Method of data analysis used panel regression analysis with Random Effect model (REM). The result showed that production of cloves and Gross Domestic Product of clove export destination country have a possitive and significant effect , distance between Sumatera Utara Province with clove export destination showed country showed negative and significant effect to clove export value in the Sumatera Utara Province. While total population of clove export destination country showed possitive and insignificant effect, exchange rate of clove export destination country in US$ showed negative and insignificant effect to clove export value in the Sumatera Utara Province.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh produksi cengkeh, jumlah penduduk negara tujuan ekspor cengkeh, Produk Domestik Bruto negara tujuan ekspor cengkeh, jarak antara Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan negara tujuan ekspor cengkeh, dan nilai tukar nominal negara tujuan ekspor cengkeh terhadap nilai ekspor cengkeh di Provinsi Sumatera Utara tahun 2011-2015 pada negara Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, United States, India, United Kingdom, dan Taiwan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan Random Effect Model (REM). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan produksi cengkeh di Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan Produk Domestik Bruto negara tujuan ekspor cengkeh di Provinsi Sumatera Utara berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, jarak antara Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan negara tujuan ekspor berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai ekspor cengkeh di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Sedangkan jumlah penduduk negara tujuan ekspor cengkeh menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan, nilai tukar nominal negara tujuan ekspor cengkeh berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai ekspor cengkeh di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.
