Analisis Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pendapatan Usaha Peternakan Ayam Ras Petelur di Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of factors on the income of laiying hen farmers in Langkat District, North Sumatera Regency. The data used are primary data and secondary data with 67 respondents. Data collection techniques are conducted by interview, observation, and questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that seedling costs, feed costs, the area of the cage, and the labor costs have a positive and significant effect on the income of laying chicken farmers in Langkat District, North Sumatera. Vaccine fees and vitamin fees variables have a negative and not significant effect on laying chicken farmers income in Langkat District, North Sumatera. Based on the results of the Cobb-Douglass income function, it was found that the factors of income of the costs of DOC seeds, the costs of feed, the area of the cage and labor costs had a positive influence on laying chicken farmers income. Where as for the factor of income of vaccine fees and the fees of vitamin has a negative influence on the income of laying chicken farmers.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor terhadap pendapatan usaha peternakan ayam ras petelur di Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder dengan 67 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa biaya bibit, biaya pakan, luas kandang, dan biaya tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan peternak ayam ras petelur di Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara. Variabel biaya vaksin dan biaya vitamin berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pendapatan peternak ayam ras petelur di Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara. Berdasarkan hasil fungsi pendapatan Cobb-Douglass, ditemukan bahwa faktor-faktor pendapatan dari biaya bibit DOC, biaya pakan, luas kandang dan biaya tenaga kerja memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pendapatan peternak ayam ras petelur. Sedangkan untuk faktor biaya vaksin dan biaya vitamin memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap pendapatan peternak ayam ras petelur.
