Adaptasi Beberapa Genotipe Ubi Jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.) Asal Kabupaten Dairi di Dataran Rendah
Abstract
The sweet potato is one of the staple food for a certain residents in Indonesia. This research was carried out on the plantation area Suka Raya village, Pancur Batu, Deli Serdang district with an altitude 35 meters above sea level, starting in July to December 2018. The Randomized Block Design was used with 1 factor i.e.: genotype of Parbuluan village, genotype of Simalopuk village (yellow), genotype of the Simalopuk village (purple), genotype of the Sitinjo village, genotype of Tanjung Beringin village, genotype of Binjai Tanah Seribu, and the control variety Sari. The parameters observed were: the length increased of the plant, the number of tubers per sample, the length of the tubers per sample, the tuber weight per sample, the plant fresh weight, the average weight of the tuber. The results showed that the genotype of Tanjung Beringin showed the best adaptation (the highest plant fresh weight,, the highest tuber weight per sample and the highest average tuber weight).
