    Peningkatan Kualitas untuk Mengurangi Kecacatan Produk dan Meningkatkan Kecepatan Produksi dengan Menggunakan Metode Lean Six Sigma

    Abstract
    CV. Naga Mas bergerak di bidang manufaktur spare part kendaraan. Salah satu produk yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan ini adalah support assy. Persentase rata-rata kecacatan support assy sebesar 9,49% dari jumlah produksi per bulan. Nilai tersebut berada diatas toleransi kecacatan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeliminasi kegiatan yang bersifat non value added untuk meningkatkan kecepatan produksi dan mereduksi jumlah kecacatan produk melalui rancangan perbaikan. Permasalahan ini diselesaikan dengan pendekatan Lean Six Sigma yang merupakan gabungan antara konsep Lean dan Six Sigma dengan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) dengan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk mengeliminasi aktivitas yang tidak bernilai tambah dan mereduksi jumlah produk cacat. Melalui pendekatan Lean Six Sigma, terdapat kegiatan non value added yaitu kegiatan pemindahan dan waktu menunggu (waiting time) yang sebenarnya tidak diperlukan. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan yaitu mengeliminasi 6 kegiatan non value added dan pengaturan letak stasiun kerja. Berdasarkan hasil estimasi yang dilakukan, diperoleh pengurangan process lead time sebesar 22,01 menit/siklus proses, peningkatan process cycle efficiency dan process velocity berturut-turut sebesar 7,80% dan 0,0008 proses/jam. Usulan perbaikan juga menggunakan metode 5S yaitu pemilahan, penataan, pembersihan, konsistensi dan disiplin diri. Metode 5S menghasilkan usulan untuk membuat program pelatihan penggunaan mesin, membuat prosedur kerja, melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap barang yang masuk, peningkatan informasi dengan supplier serta penerapan perawatan mesin secara berkala (preventive maintenance).
     
    CV. Naga Mas is manufacturing company in vehicle spare parts. One of the products produced by this company is support assy. The average percentage of disability support assy is 9,49% of the total production per month. This value is above the company's disability tolerance. This study aims to eliminate non-value added activities to increase production speed and reduce the number of product defects through design improvements. This problem is solved by the Lean Six Sigma approach which is a combination of Lean and Six Sigma concepts with the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) by providing improvement proposals to eliminate non-value added activities and reduce the number of defective products. Through the Lean Six Sigma approach, there are non-value added activities, namely transfer activities and waiting times that are not really needed. The proposed improvements provided are eliminating 6 non value added activities and setting the work station location. Based on the results of the estimation, the process lead time was reduced by 22,01 minutes/process cycle, increased process cycle efficiency and process velocity of 7,80% and 0,0008 processes/hour respectively. Proposed improvements also use the 5S method, namely sorting, structuring, cleaning, consistency and self-discipline. The 5S method produces a proposal to create a training program for machine use, create work procedures, conduct inspection of incoming goods, increase information with suppliers and apply routine maintenance (preventive maintenance).
