    Abstract
    This thesis entitled English Verb Acquisition of Third Grade Students of Aqila Islamic School analyzes English language acquisition specifically regarding English verbs and kind of verbs in third grade students of Aqila Islamic School. In classifying data, Second Language Acquisition theory is used and the method used in this study is descriptive qualitative and observation method. The data found in this thesis are English verbs on the words and writings of third grade students of Aqila Islamic School. The results of this study show that third grade students of Aqila Islamic School acquired English verbs through communication between English teacher and students using English language, also from English books taught by English teachers. The results also show that third grade students of Aqila Islamic School are able to answer written English tests in the form of questions about English verbs.
     
    Skripsi yang berjudul English Verb Acquisition of Third Grade Students of Aqila Islamic School menganalisis tentang pemerolehan bahasa Inggris khususnya mengenai kata kerja bahasa Inggris dan jenis-jenis kata kerja bahasa Inggris pada murid kelas tiga sekolah dasar di sekolah Aqila Islamic School. Dalam mengklasifikasikan data, digunakan teori Pemerolehan Bahasa Kedua dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan metode observasi. Data yang ditemukandalam skripsi ini adalah kata kerja bahasa Inggris pada ucapan dan tulisan murid kelas tiga sekolah dasar di Aqila Islamic School. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa murid kelas tiga sekolah dasar Aqila Islamic School memperoleh kata kerja bahasa Inggris melalui komunikasi antara guru bahasa Inggris dengan murid menggunakan bahasa Inggris, juga dari buku bahasa Inggris yang diajarkan oleh guru bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa murid kelas tiga sekolah dasar Aqila Islamic School mampu menjawab test tertulis bahasa Inggris berupa pertanyaan tentang kata kerja bahasa Inggris.
