An analysis of Cl- levels from several refill drinking water depots has been
carried out at the Regional Health Laboratory Center of North Sumatra Province.
this chloride analysis is to find out how much chloride content contained in refill
drinking water is tested at the Regional Health Laboratory Center of North Sumatra
Province according to the drinking water requirements allowed in the Republic of
Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation No. 492 / MENKES / PER / IV / 2010.
Chloride levels in refill drinking water are determined by the Argentometry (Mohr)
method, namely by using a standard solution of AgNO3 and K2CrO4 indicator. At
the end point of the titration it is indicated by the formation of brick red deposits
from Ag2CrO4. Chloride (Cl-) levels in refill drinking water tested at the Regional
Health Laboratory Center in North Sumatra Province obtained 15.0 mg / L, 15.0 mg
/ L, 5.5 mg / L, 14.5 mg / L, 13.6 mg / L, and 14.6 mg / L respectively taken from Polpol
water, Alba water, Barokah water, Bertuah water, Sefta water, and Ramadhan
water. From these results it can be concluded that refill drinking water meets the
standards of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia
No.492 / MENKES / PER / IV / 2010. Telah dilakukan analisis kadar Cl- dari beberapa depot air minum isi ulang di
Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara. analisis klorida ini
untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kadar klorida yang terkandung dalam air minum isi
ulang yang diuji di Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara
sesuai persyaratan air minum yang diperbolehkan dalam Peraturan Menteri
Kesehatan RI No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/ 2010. Kadar klorida dalam air minum isi
ulang ditetapkan dengan metode Argentometri (Mohr) yaitu dengan menggunakan
larutan standar AgNO3 dan indikator K2CrO4. Pada titik akhir titrasi ditandai dengan
terbentuknya endapan warna merah bata dari Ag2CrO4. Kadar klorida (Cl-) pada air
minum isi ulang yang diuji di Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah Provinsi
sumatera utara diperoleh 15,0 mg/L, 15,0 mg/L, 5,5 mg/L, 14,5 mg/L, 13,6 mg/L,
dan 14,6 mg/L berturut-turut yang diambil dari Pol-pol water, Alba water, Barokah
water, Bertuah water, Sefta water, dan Ramadhan water. Dari hasil tersebut maka
dapat disimpulkan bahwa air minum isi ulang tersebut memenuhi standart Peraturan
Menteri Kesehatan RI No.492/MENKES/PER /IV/2010.
