dc.description.abstractResearch on the Medical Plants Etnobotany Study of Toba Society in Sicike-Cike Nature Park Lae Hole II Village Parbuluan District, has been conducted from April to June 2015. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of medical palnts and their utilization by the Toba Socitey in the Lae Hole II Village Parbuluan District. This research uses both quantitative and qualitative methods in taking the data by using purposive technique sampling and snowball sampling. The collection of the data uses an interview and questionnaire. Calculation of the data analysis uses Index of Cultural Significance (ICS) and Degradation of Society Knowledge (D). The result showed that 59 species medical plants that used by Toba Society. Index of Cultural Significance (ICS) is the highest in Lae Hole II is betel or (Piper betle.Linn) is 85.0. Knowledge Society Toba in the Lae Hole II Village utilization of medical plants from generation to generation tends to decrease. The highest level of degradation in subdistrict I, II, and II Lae Hole II Village in age group A (20-35 years) is 61.64%.en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian tentang Studi Etnobotani Tumbuhan Obat Oleh Masyarakat Toba di Kawasan Taman Wisata Alam Sicike-Cike Desa Lae Hole II Kecamatan Parbuluan, telah dilakukan pada bulan April-Juni 2015. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan obat dan pemanfaatannya oleh masyarakat Toba di Desa Lae Hole II Kecamatan Parbuluan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif, untuk pengambilan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan angket. Analisis data dengan perhitungan Index of Cultural Significance (ICS) dan Degradasi Pengetahuan masyarakat (D). Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan 59 jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat oleh masyarakat Toba. Nilai Index of Cultural Significance (ICS) tertinggi di Desa Lae Hole II adalah sirih (Piper betle Linn) yaitu 85.0. Pengetahuan Masyarakat Toba di Desa Lae Hole II tentang pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat dari generasi kegenerasi cenderung menurun. Tingkat degradasi tertinggi yang terdapat di Dusun I, II dan III Des Lae Hole II pada kelompok umur A (20-35 tahun) yaitu 61.64%.en_US
