Analisis Daya Saing Kota Gunungsitoli

Abstract

The purpose of the research is for analysing the factor that influence and determines the competitiveness of Gunungsitoli City in 2016 using Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). By using purposive sampling methods ,this research uses primary data in the form of questionnaires and interviews with 50 respondents consisting of board members, facult /lecturers/teachers, community leaders, banks,non-banks, bureaucrats and entrepreneurs in Gunungsitoli City. The result of the research showed that the factors of labor and productivity is the most dominant factor affecting the competitiveness in Gunungsitoli City with weight value of 0.426. Then followed of regional economy factor 0.204, physical infrastructure factor of 0.140, socio-political factor of 0.138 and institutional factors was ranked last with a weight value of 0.91.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dan menjadi penentu daya saing Kota Gunungsitoli tahun 2016 dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Hierarki Proses (AHP). Dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling, penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa kuisioner dan wawancara terhadap 50 responden yang terdiri dari anggota dewan, staf pengajar/dosen/guru, tokoh masyarakat, perbankan, non perbankan, birokrat, dan pengusaha di Kota Gunungsitoli. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor tenaga kerja dan produktivitas adalah faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi daya saing Kota Gunungsitoli dengan nilai bobot sebesar 0,426. Kemudian diikuti faktor perekonomian daerah sebesar 0,204, faktor infrastruktur fisik sebesar 0,140, faktor sosial politik sebesar 0,138 dan faktor kelembagaan berada diurutan terakhir dengan nilai bobot sebesar 0,91.
