dc.description.abstract | Research about the effect of addition coconut water and 2,4-d on the growth of
young leaf arabica coffee (coffea arabica) plants through plant tissue culture
techniques has been done at Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory of Faculty
Mathematics and Science, University of Sumatera Utara. The research aimed to
obtain medium with the suitable concentration of coconut water and 2,4-D for
micro propagation of the coffee . The experiment was carried out using a
completely randomized design with two factors and four replications. 15%
coconut water treatment with a combination of 2,4-D 1 ppm provided most
excellent influence on callus induction, fresh weight and dry weight callus. The
combination of coconut water and 2,4-D with a concentration of 5% and 3 ppm
and 15% and 3 ppm produced brown callus. While 14 other treatments produced
white callus. All of the treatments produced friable callus. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Penelitian tentang pengaruh penambahan air kelapa dan 2,4-D terhadap
pertumbuhan daun muda tanaman kopi arabika (coffea arabica) melalui teknik
kultur jaringan tanaman telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Kultur Jaringan
Tumbuhan Departemen Biologi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan
Alam, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan
konsentrasi air kelapa dan 2,4-D yang tepat untuk perbanyakan mikro tanaman
kopi arabika. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL)
faktorial dua faktor dengan empat taraf air kelapa yaitu air kelapa 0; 5%; 10%;
15% dan empat taraf 2,4-D yaitu 0; 1 ppm; 2 ppm dan 3 ppm. Kombinasi air
kelapa 15% dan 2,4-D 1 ppm memberikan pengaruh paling baik terhadap induksi
kalus, berat basah dan berat kering kalus. Kombinasi air kelapa 5% dan 2,4-D 3
ppm menghasilkan kalus coklat, 14 perlakuan lainnya menghasilkan kalus putih.
Seluruh perlakuan mengasilkan kalus remah. | en_US |
