A Study of Passive Voice Used in Cecelia Ahern’s Novel “ If You Could See Me Now”

Abstract

A working paper entitled “ A study of Passive Voice in the novel Cecelia Ahern ‘ If You Could See Me Now’ was about use of passive voice sentences contained in the novel Cecelia ahern. The purpose of the topic selection paper this work was to know in detail about how to use various kinds of passive voicein terms of its tenses. The author believes that passive voice was still a problem for peoples who study it. So by providing a variety of information could at least help them. To describe the steps used in order to get the data, the writer used descriptive qualitative method.

Kertas karya yang berjudul “ A study of Passive Voice in the novel Cecelia Ahern ‘ If You Could See Me Now”ini membahas tentang penggunaan passive voice di dalam kalimat yang terdapat pada novel Cecelia ahern. Tujuan dari pemilihan topik kertas karya ini adalahmengetahui secara terperinci tentang bagaimana cara menggunakan kalimat passive voice dilihat dari segi tensesnya. Penulis yakin bahwa passive voice masih menjadi masalah bagi orang orang yang mempelajarinya. Sehingga denganmemberikan berbagai informasi setidaknya bisa membantu mereka.Metode yang digunakan dalam mengerjakan kertas karya ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk memaparkan langkah-langkah dalam mengumpulkan data.
