| dc.description.abstract | This paper entitled “The Analysis of Code Mixing used by The Indonesia Lawyers Club (ILC) on TV One” discusses about two types of code mixing based on Wardaugh theory (2010:98). The writer uses the Indonesia Lawyers Club (ILC) Talk Show as a data. Talk show is considered as an effective medium to analyze code mixing in the conversations made by the host and the guests. The purpose of this paper is to find the types of code mixing contained in the Indonesia Lawyers Club. The writer in completing this paper was watching the Indonesia Lawyers Club on TV One, then download a YouTube video which recording Indonesia Lawyers Club, then listen the conversation in the video over and over and transcribe the utterance into a script which is required as data, then the data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative method. The writer uses 45 data from the Indonesia Lawyers Club. Analysis focused on two types of code mixing that is inter-sentential code mixing and intra-sentential code mixing and the dominant of code mixing used by the Indonesia Lawyers Club. Results of the analysis revealed that there are 45 times of code mixing. Results obtained percentage is inter-sentential code mixing 2 times and intra-sentential code mixing 43 times . The writer also found the dominant code mixing is used. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Kertas karya yang berjudul “The Analysis of Code Mixing used by The Indonesia Lawyers Club (ILC) on TV One” ini membahas tentang dua tipe campur kode berdasarkan teori Wardhaugh (2010:98). Penulis menggunakan Indonesia Lawyers Club sebagai data. Talk show dianggap efektif sebagai media untuk menganalisis campur kode di percakapan antara pembawa acara dan tamu-tamunya. Tujuan kertas karya ini adalah untuk menemukan tipe campur kode yang terkandung di Indonesia Lawyers Club di TV One. Penulis dalam menyelesaikan kertas karya ini adalah dengan menonton Indonesia Lawyers Club di TV one, kemudian mendownload video youtube yang merupakan rekaman acara Indonesia Lawyers Club, kemudian mendengarkan percakapan di dalam video tersebut secara berulang dan menuliskan ujaran – ujaran yang diperlukan sebagai data, selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penulis menggunakan 45 data dari Indonesia Lawyers Club. Analisis difokuskan pada dua tipe campur kode yaitu campur kode inter-sentential dan campur kode intra-sentential. Hasil dari analisis mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat 45 ujaran yang merupakan campur kode. Hasil persentasi yang didapat adalah campur kode inter-sentential 2 ujaran dan campur kode intra-sentential 43 ujaran. Penulis juga menemukan campur kode yang dominan di gunakan. | en_US |
