An Analysis of William Wordsworth’s Poems

Abstract

This paper is entitled An Analysis of William Wordsworth’s Poemsis about the three poems those are “It Beautious Evening”, “The World Is Too Much with Us”, and “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud”. The purpose of writing this paper is to analyze and to conclude the results of this analysis of four the poem. This paper is written using library research and intrinsic approach to help analyze and to make a conclusions. The first and the second poem have each three stanzas. The longest stanzas is in the third poem, it has four stanzas. The meaning of first poem is about the atmosphere in the afternoon, the meaning of second poem is about human nature and the meaning of third poem is about of life.

Kertas karya yang berjudul An Analysis of William Wordsworth Poem’s ini membahas tentang tiga puisi yaitu “It Beautious Evening”, “The World Is Too Much with Us”, and “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud”. Tujuan penelitian kertas karya ini adalah menganalisis dan menyimpulkan hasil analisis terhadap tiga puisi tersebut. Dalam penulisan kertas karya ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka yaitu memperoleh data berdasarkan buku yang dibaca. Puisi pertama dan kedua memiliki masing-masing tiga stanza. Stanza terpanjang terdapat pada puisi ke tiga, yaitu empat stanza. Makna dari puisi pertama menceritakan tentang suasana di sore hari, makna dari puisi kedua menceritakan tentang sif dt manusia dan makna dari puisi ketiga menceritakan tentang kehidupan.
