about affixation process that is one of linguistics, Morphology. The data of this
research are 7 chapters (from chapter 1 to 7) in Jean Ure’s Novel, Becky Bananas,
This is your life. The purpose of this writing is to find total number of prefixes and
suffixes used in Jean Ure’s Novel and to find what the dominant affix is. The
method of research applied is descriptive qualitative. After describing the data,
There are 14 words that is included prefixes or the percentage of prefixes are
12,72%. There are 96 words that is included suffixes or the percentage of suffixes
are 87,28%. Thus, the most dominant of affix in the novel is suffix. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Kertas karya yang berjudul “THE DESCRIPTION OF PREFIXES AND
SUFFIXES USED IN BECKY BANANAS, THIS IS YOUR LIFE! NOVEL BY
JEAN URE” membahas tentang proses pengimbuhan yang merupakan bagian dari
linguistik yaitu morfologi. Data dari penelitian ini adalah 7 bab (bab 1 sampai bab
7) pada novel Jean Ure, Becky Bananas, This is your life! Tujuan dari tulisan ini
untuk menemukan jumlah dari prefiks/awalan dan sufiks/akhiran yang digunakan
dalam novel Jean ure dan untuk menemukan imbuhan yang dominan. Metode
penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dari penjelasan data, ada 14 kata yang
termasuk awalan atau persentase prefiks yaitu 12,72%. Ada 96 kata-kata yang
termasuk akhiran atau persentase sufiks yaitu 87,28%. Dengan demikian, yang
paling dominan dari imbuhan dalam novel ini adalah sufiks/akhiran. | en_US |
