    Karakterisasi Habitat dan Morfologi Tegakan Kembang Semangkok (Scaphium macropodum) di Pos Monitoring Sikundur Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser (TNGL)

    Abstract
    Kembang Semangkok (Scaphium macropodum) merupakan salah jenis pohon yang banyak dimanfaatkan untuk keperluan obat-obatan. Akibat proses pengambilan biji yang bersifat destruktif, kondisi tanaman ini dalam status least concern menurut IUCN. Informasi morfologi dan habitat tanaman kembang semangkok terutama di daerah Sumatera Utara belum banyak diketahui. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis karakter morfologi dan habitat melalui analisis kimia tanah, penetapan total mikroba dan respirasi tanah dibawah kembang semangkok. Karakterisasi morfologi dilakukan dengan pengamatan dan pengukuran secara langsung terhadap kondisi morfologi 12 pohon di lokasi penelitian. Sedangkan analisis habitat dilakukan melalui pengambilan 4 buah sampel yaitu tanah pada kedalaman 0-5 cm dan 5-20 cm di bawah 12 tegakan kembang semangkok, kemudian dilakukan serangkaian prosedur pengenceran. Uji t dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan rata-rata 2 kedalaman tanah dengan respirasi dan total mikroba. Hasil karakterisasi morfologi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keragaman morfologi pada tajuk, daun dan batang tegakan kembang semangkok. Hasil analisis habitst menunjukkan adanya variasi karakter kimia tanah dengan kriteria sangat rendah sampai tinggi. Rataan total mikroba yang diperoleh pada kedalaman 0-5 cm adalah 93,32 x 109 SPK/ml dan 5-20 cm adalah 92,39 x 109 SPK/ml. Total Respirasi tanah yang diperoleh pada kedalaman 0-5 cm adalah 8,25 mg C-CO2 g-1 hari-1 dan kedalaman 5-20 cm adalah 7,74 mg C-CO2 g-1 hari-1. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa kedalaman tanah berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap respirasi tanah dan total mikroba tanah.
     
    Kembang Semangkok (Scaphium macropodum) is tree species that is wisely used for medicinal purposes. Destructive seeds harvesting was causing the species classified into least concern status according to IUCN. Information on the morphology and habitat of kembang semangkok, especially in the North Sumatra is still limited yet. The purpose of this study were to analyze morphological and habitat characteristics through soil chemical analysys, determination of total microbes and soil respiration under a bowl flower. Morphological characterization was carried out by direct observation and measurement of organ of 12 trees at the research location. While habitat analysis is carried out by 24 samples collection on a depth 0-5 cm and 5-20 cm under 12 kembang semangkok stands, then a series of dilution procedures is performed. T test was carried out to determine the relationship between 2 soil depths with respiration and total microbes. Morphological characterizarion results showed that there was variety of canopy, leaves and stems morphology. Habitat analysis showed there were a variations in the chemical character of soil with very low to high criteria. The average total of microbes obtained at 0-5 cm depth was 93,32 x 109 CFU/ml and 5-20 cm was 92,39 x 109 CFU/ml. Total soil respiration obtained at a depth of 0-5 cm is 8,25 mg C-CO2 g-1 day-1 and a depth of 5-20 cm is 7,74 mg C-CO2 g-1 day-1. T-test results showed that the soil depth not significant influenced soil respiration and total soil microbes.
