dc.description.abstractThis study was aimed to obtain the value of the water balance component that occurs in the Deli Watershed (Case Study: Sei Petani Sub Watershed). To find out the water balance in the Deli Watershed the equation used was : P − ETc-Q-In-Qd ± ΔS = 0 where P = the amount of rainfall (mm), ETc = the amount of crop evapotranspiration, Q = the amount surface flow (mm) In = Total Interception(mm) Qd = dositary Water Requirements (mm) and ΔS = change in water storage (mm). From the results of water balance research in the Sei Petani Sub-watershed, it was concluded that the source of water supply at the study site was 100% derived from rainfall which amounted to 2,599 mm / year, and from the rainfall there was an interception of 19.28% with an interception value of 501 mm / year , 67.63% water comes out as plant evapotranspiration 1,757.6 mm / year, 2.69% water comes out as surface flow that is equal to 70 mm / year, 7.53% water comes out as dositary water needs of 196 mm / year. In general, there was a surplus of changes in water storage by 75 mm / year with a percentage of 2.87%. The water surplus occurred due to high rainfall in the study area so that the rain water can supply water in the Sei Petani Sub Watershed and maintain water availability at land to meet water needs in plants.en_US
dc.description.abstractTujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh nilai komponen neraca air yang terjadi di DAS Deli (Studi Kasus: Sub DAS Sei Petani). Untuk mengetahui neraca air pada DAS Deli digunakan persamaan: P−ETc—Q-In-Qd ±ΔS= 0 dimana P = jumlah curah hujan (mm), ETc = jumlah evapotranspirasi tanaman, Q = jumlah aliran permukaan (mm) In = Jumlah intersepsi (mm) Qd = Kebutuhan Air Dosmetik (mm) dan ΔS = perubahan simpanan air (mm). Dari hasil penelitian neraca air pada Sub DAS Sei Petani diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sumber pasokan air pada lokasi penelitian 100% berasal dari curah hujan yaitu sebesar 2.599 mm/tahun, dan dari curah hujan tersebut terjadi intersepsi 19,28 % dengan nilai intersepsi 501 mm/tahun, 67,63 % air keluar sebagai evapotranspirasi tanaman sebesar 1.757,6 mm/tahun, 2,69% air keluar sebagai aliran permukaan yaitu sebesar 70 mm/tahun, 7,53 % air keluar sebagai kebutuhan air dosmetik sebesar 196 mm/tahun. Secara umum terjadi surplus perubahan simpanan air sebesar 75 mm/tahun dengan persentase sebesar 2,87%. Surplus air yang terjadi karena curah hujan yang cukup tinggi pada daerah penelitian sehingga air hujan tersebut dapat mensuplai air di Sub DAS Sei Petani dan menjaga ketersediaan air pada tanah untuk mencukupi kebutuhan air pada tanaman.en_US
