Analisis Cpue Dan Tingkat Pemanfaatan Ikan Tongkol Komo (Euthynnus affinis) di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Belawan Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

One of the fishery products in the Belawan Ocean Fisheries Port is the Komo Tuna (Euthynnus affinis). Komo Tuna (Euthynnus affinis) is a type of consumption fish that has high economic value and is in demand by the community. With the large number of fish enthusiasts resulting in an increase in the number of fishing efforts that are considered to be able to reduce the population of Komo Tuna (Euthynnus affinis) in Belawan waters, especially while catching is done at any time. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE), the level of utilization and effort, and the sustainability status of Komo Tuna (Euthynnus affinis) fish resources in Belawan Ocean Fisheries Port. This study was conducted in May to June 2019. This study used the production surplus method and the MDS (Multi Dimensional Scaling) method. The results showed the average value of CPUE in trawl gear was 0.0863 tons/trip, gill net was 0.11 tons/trip, fishing gear was 0.07 tons/trip. Estimating the potential with the Schaefer model shows MSY of 535,009 tons/year and optimum effort 5102.66 trips/year. The average utilization rate is 95.50 % and the average utilization rate is 107.94 %, while the allowable catch is 428,007 tons/year. Sustainability status of Komo (Euthynnus affinis) Tuna Fish ecological and institutional dimensions are in the moderately sustainable category, the social dimension is in the less sustainable category, the economic and technological dimensions are in the unsustainable category.

Salah satu hasil perikanan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Belawan adalah Ikan Tongkol Komo (Euthynnus affinis). Ikan Tongkol Komo (Euthynnus affinis) merupakan jenis ikan konsumsi yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi dan diminati oleh masyarakat. Dengan banyaknya peminat ikan tersebut mengakibatkan penambahan jumlah upaya penangkapan yang dianggap dapat mengurangi populasi Ikan Tongkol Komo (Euthynnus affinis) di perairan Belawan, terutama jika penangkapan dilakukan setiap saat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE), tingkat pemanfaatan dan pengupayaan, serta menentukan status keberlanjutan sumberdaya Ikan Tongkol Komo (Euthynnus affinis) di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Belawan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Juni 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode surplus produksi dan metode MDS (Multi Dimensional Scaling) . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata CPUE pada alat tangkap pukat cincin sebesar 0,0863 ton/trip, alat tangkap jaring insang sebesar 0,11 ton/trip, alat tangkap pancing sebesar 0,07 ton/trip. Pendugaan potensi dengan model Schaefer menunjukkan MSY sebesar 535,009 ton/tahun dan effort optimum 5102,66 trip/tahun. Rata-rata tingkat pemanfaatan sebesar 95,50 % dan rata-rata tingkat pengupayaan sebesar 107,94 %, sedangkan tangkapan yang diperbolehkan 428,007 ton/tahun. Status keberlanjutan Ikan Tongkol Komo (Euthynnus affinis) dimensi ekologi dan kelembagaan berada dalam kategori cukup berkelanjutan, dimensi sosial berada dalam kategori kurang berkelanjutan, dimensi ekonomi dan teknologi berada dalam kategori tidak berkelanjutan.
