dc.description.abstract | This research is entitled Interpersonal Communication of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Building Self-Concept to the Students of Interdisciplinary Studies in Islamic Boarding School Ar Raudlatul Hasanah, Medan. The objectives of this research are to analyze the interpersonal communication of the guidance and counseling teachers in building self-concept to the students of interdisciplinary studies in Islamic Boarding School Ar Raudlatul Hasanah Medan, and to analyze interdisciplinary self-concept of the students after the counseling with guidance and counseling teachers. This research employs qualitative method with study case approach. The subjects are two guidance and counseling teachers as the main informants and three students of interdisciplinary studies as supporting informants, and a teacher in parenting fie Idas the informant for triangulation of research data. The data are collected through non-participant observation and in-depth interviews. The research results demonstrate that the interpersonal communication among the students of interdisciplinary studies is preventive, by giving direct action such as reprimands and repressive communication such as sanction threats in case the students continue to repeat their mistakes. The sanctions imposed are in accordance with the kinds of violations committed. Guidance and counseling also make cooperation with some parties in building self-concept to the students of interdisciplinary studies i.e. boarding caregiver, student guardians, especially homeroom teachers to help giving reprimands and advices to the students. The self-concept of the three students of interdisciplinary studies can accept the instructions of the guidance and counseling teachers, realize the mistakes that they have done, and have the willingness not to break the regulations of the boarding school. The communication process is made interactively between the guidance and counseling teachers and the students, and is aimed to improve supervision and lo minimize students ' violations in the boarding school. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini berjudul Komunikasi Antarpribadi Guru Bimbingan Konseling dalam
Pembentukan Konsep Diri Santri Indisipliner di Pesantren Ar Raudlatul Hasanah
Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komunikasi antarpribadi guru
bimbingan konseling dalam pembentukan konsep diri santri indisipliner di pondok
pesantren Ar Raudlatul Hasanah Medan, serta untuk menganalisis konsep diri santri
indisipliner pasca penanganan guru bimbingan konseling. Peneliti menggunakan metode
kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah dua orang guru
bimbingan konseling sebagai informan utama dan tiga orang santri indisipliner sebagai
informan pendukung, serta seorang guru bidang pengasuhan sebagai informan
triangulasi data penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi non
partisipan dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi
antarpribadi yang terjalin terhadap santri indisipliner adalah komunikasi bersifat
preventif, dengan memberikan tindakan langsung melalui teguran serta komunikasi
bersifat represif, yakni ancaman sanksi jika santri indisipliner tetap mengulangi
kesalahannya. Sanksi yang diberikan sesuai dengan jenis pelanggaran yang diperbuat.
Bimbingan dan konseling juga melakukan kerja sama dengan beberapa pihak dalam
pembentukan konsep diri santri indisipliner, yakni pengasuh asrama, wali santri
indisipliner, terutama pada wali kelas untuk membantu dalam memberikan teguran dan
nasihat kepada santri indisipliner.Konsep diri ketiga santri indisipliner dapat menerima
arahan yang diberikan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling, serta menyadari akan
kesalahan yang diperbuat dan memiliki keinginan untuk tidak melanggar peraturan
pondok pesantren. Proses komunikasi yang terjalin melalui komunikasi interaktif, antara
guru bimbingan konseling dengan santri indisipliner dan berupaya untuk meningkatkan
pengawasan serta meminimalisir angka pelanggaran santri di pondok pesantren. | en_US |
