    Isolasi dan Penentuan Aktivitas Antioksidan dan Antibakteri dari Flavonoida Total, Alkaloida Total dan Terpenoida Total Kulit Manggis (Garcinia Mangostana L)

    Abstract
    Phytochemical screening showed that mangosteen peel contains alkaloids, flavonoids and terpenoids. 3 kg of mangosteen peel extracted with methanol obtained a solid extract of 237.10 g. Through the partition process, total extract of flavonoids was obtained 22.03 g, total extract terpenoids was 7.89 g and the extracts of total alkaloids was 9.61 g. Antioxidant test was carried out using the DPPH free radical capture method using UV-Visible spectroscopy at a maximum wavelength of 515 nm. Based on the linear regression obtained Inhibition Concentration (IC50) values for total alkaloids was 89.15 mg/L, total flavonoids was 22.24 mg/L and total terpenoids was 26.71 mg/L. Total flavonoids and total terpenoids from mangosteen peel was the compound that has the greater antioxidant then total alkaloids. Antibacterial activity test using agar diffusion method tested on Streptococcus aureus and at sample concentrations of 100 ppm, 250 ppm and 500 ppm each inhibition zone was 9.0 mm; 9.2 mm and 10.4 mm for total flavonoids, 12.5 mm; 14.9 mm and 19.4 mm for total alkaloid and 13.5 mm; 13.9 mm and 15.3 mm for total terpenoids. Whereas for Escherichia coli bacteria, each inhibition zone was 9.4 mm; 10.2 mm and 12.3 mm for total flavonoids, 14.9 mm; 15.3 mm and 15.5 mm 14.5 mm; 14.7 mm and 15.2 mm for total terpenoids.
     
    Penelitian mengenai uji aktivitas antioksidan dan antibakteri dari flavonoid total, alkaloid total dan flavonoid total kulit manggis (Garcinia Mangostana L) telah dilakukan. Dari 3 kg kulit manggis yang di ekstrak dengan metanol diperoleh ekstrak padat sebanyak 237,10 g. Melalui proses partisi diperoleh ekstrak total flavonoid 22,03 g, total terpenoid 7,89 g dan ekstrak total alkaloid 9,61 g. Aktivitas antioksidan diuji dengan metode peredaman radikal bebas 2.2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil (DPPH) menggunakan spektrofotometer UV Visibel pada panjang gelombang maksimum 515 nm diperoleh 50% efek aktivitas antioksidan (IC50) sebesar 22,24 mg/L untuk flavonoid total, 26,71 mg/L untuk terpenoid total dan 89,15 mg/L untuk alkaloid total. Uji aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan Metode Difusi Agar yang diujikan pada Streptococcus aureus dan pada konsentrasi sampel 100 ppm, 250 ppm dan 500 ppm diperoleh zona hambat masing masing 9,0 mm; 9,2 mm dan 10,4 mm untuk flavonoid total, 12,5 mm; 14,9 mm dan 19,4 mm untuk alkaloid total dan 13,5 mm; 13,9 mm dan 15,3 mm untuk terpenoid total. Sedangkan untuk bakteri Escherichia coli diperoleh zona hambat masing masing 9,4 mm; 10,2 mm dan 12,3 mm untuk flavonoid total, 14,9 mm; 15,3 mm dan 15,5 mm 14,5 mm; 14,7 mm dan 15,2 mm untuk terpenoid total.
