    Karakterisasi Bionanokomposit Pati Sukun/PVA yang Diinkorporasi Dengan Nanoserat Selulosa dan Aloe Vera

    Abstract
    Characterization of breadfruit starch/PVA bionanocomposite that incorporation with nanofibre cellulose and aloe vera has been carried out. Cellulose nanofibre were isolated by acid hydrolysis using 45% H2SO4 and mechanical homogenizer and ultrasonication proces. Based on the results of cellulose nanofibre PSA the average size is 60 nm. Preparation of bionanocomposite with several variations of fillers which have been determined subsequently analyzed the mechanical properties, FTIR, XRD, WvTR, SEM and antibacterial activity. Tensile test values showed optimal results in the ratio of 10% cellulose nanofibre filler and 8% aloe vera, with tensile strength of 28.89 MPa, elongation of 103.33% and elastic modulus of 22.35 MPa. FT-IR analysis shows that no new clusters form only a shift in several clusters. The lowest water vapor transmission rate is shown in the same fill ratio of 0.008g/hr/cm2. Bionanocomposite surface morphology shows a good surface and compatible with SEM analysis. Films show a positive effect on S.Aureus bacteria so that they are suitable for use in food packaging.
     
    Karakterisasi bionanokomposit pati sukun/PVA diinkorporasi dengan nanoseratselulosa dari pelepah kelapa sawit/ aloe vera berhasil dilakukan. Nanoseratselulosa diisolasi dengan hidrolisa asam menggunakan H2SO4 45% serta proses mekanik, homogenizer dan ultrasonikasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisa PSA dan SEM nanoseratselulosa rata-rata berukuran 60 nm. Pembuatan bionanokomposit dengan beberapa variasi pengisi yang telah ditentukan selanjutnya dianalisa sifat mekanik, FT-IR, XRD,WvTR,SEM dan aktifitas antibakteri. Nilai uji tarik menunjukkan hasil yang optimal pada rasio pengisi nanoserat selulosa 10% dan lidah buaya 8%, dengan kuat tarik sebesar 28,89 MPa, kemuluran 103.33% dan modulus elastisitas 22,35 MPa. Analisa FT-IR menunjukkan tidak terbentuk gugus baru hanya terjadi pergeseran pada beberapa gugus. Laju transmisi uap air terendah ditunjukkan pada rasio pengisi yang sama yaitu 0,008 g/jam/cm2. Morfologi permukaan bionanokomposit menunjukkan permukaan yang rata dan kompatibel dengan analisa SEM. Film menunjukkan efek yang positif terhadap bakteri S.Aureus sehingga layak digunakan pada kemasan makanan.
