Pengaruh Metode Ceramah dan Metode Diskusi Terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap Ibu Hamil Tentang Pencegahan Makrosomia di Puskesmas Siabu Kabupaten Mandailing Natal Tahun 2016

Abstract

Penyuluhan salah satu metode untuk mencegah Makrosomia yang mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam memberikan pengetahuan kepada ibu hamil tentang Makrosomia, sehingga nantinya ibu hamil dapat mengetahui dan bersikap untuk mencegah terjadinya Makrosomia pada masa kehamilan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode ceramah dan metode diskusi terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil tentang pencegahan Makrosomia di Puskesmas Siabu Kabupaten Mandailing Natal 2016. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan Pretest-Posttes Design. Kelompok metode ceramah berjumlah 15 orang dan kelompok diskusi berjumlah 15 orang dengan kriteria tertentu. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik t-independen pada alpha 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh penyuluhan melalui metode ceramah dan metode diskusi terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang Makrosomia. Perubahan pengetahuan lebih besar menggunakan metode diskusi dengan nilai ratarata 4,33, dibanding metode ceramah dengan nilai rata-rata 3,58, sehingga metode diskusi lebih efektif terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang Makrosomia dibanding metode ceramah. Ada pengaruh metode ceramah dan metode diskusi terhadap sikap ibu hamil tentang Makrosomia. Perubahan sikap lebih besar menggunakan metode diskusi dengan nilai rata-rata 13,20, dibanding metode ceramah dengan nilai rata-rata 8,62, sehingga metode diskusi lebih efektif terhadap sikap ibu hamil tentang Makrosomia dibanding metode ceramah. Diharapkan kepada pihak Puskesmas Siabu untuk meningkatkan pembinaan peran serta masyarakat di bidang kesehatan ibu hamil khusunya memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pencegahan makrosomia agar masyarakat mengetahui komplikasi yang diakibatkan makrosomia dan cara mencegah makrosomia, dan pendidikan kesehatan ini juga merupakan upaya dalam meningkatkan kesehatan pelayanan preventif

Counseling is one of formal methods in order to prevent Macrosomia, indeed has an important role in presenting those maternal pregnancy sufficient knowledge about Macrosomia, as expected later those pregnant maternal may understand and do own behave how to avoid any Macrosomia disorder. The objective of this study is to know the influence of providing them material with an open-talk method and with discussion method against their knowledge and behave as pregnant woman and teach them avoid any Macrosomia noted on Puskesmas Siabu Kabupaten Mandailing Natal for 2016. This study is an experiment quasi research with a Pretest-posttest design approach. An open-talk method group totally 15 patient, and the other group with discussion group noted total 15 students in a certain criterion. In analyzing the data, used Wilcoxom statististic t-independent in alpha of 5%. The result indicated that there is the influence of counseling with open talkshow by a public presentation and with discussion method and discussion about their knowledge as maternal pregnant about Macrosomia. The change of knowledge go higher using a discussion method with average rate of 4.33, compared to an opentalk method with average rate is 3.58, so the method of discussion shall be more effective to the maternal knowledge about Macrasomia compared to public discussion. The change of behave is higher used a discussion method with average rate of 13.20, compared to an open-talk rate of 8.6, so the method of discussion is more effective to their behave as pregnant maternal about Macrosome, the method of discussion is more effective on their behave as Governor. It is suggested to Puskesmas Siabu, improve more their knowledge and give role with society on health, specifically to present health counseling about the one’s self of maternal for avoiding Macrosomia and encourage the topic, after taking an topic and know what compilation resulted by Macrosomia and the method how to avoid macrosomia, and this healthy atmosphere education basic is also to avoid as requird.
