    Behavior Skills Training untuk Meningkatkan Personal Safety Skills Sebagai Prevensi Terhadap Kekerasan Seksual pada Anak

    Abstract
    Child sexual abuse occurs because the lack of child skills in protecting themselves from becoming the victims. Therefore children need skills to protect themselves from the abuse. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of behavior skills training to improve personal safety skills as prevention of child sexual abuse. Behavior skills training is a training phase consisting of instruction, modeling, rehearsal, and feedback which in this case is used to improve personal safety skills. The increasing of personal safety skills is measured by using a scale. The research design was used pretest-posttest control group. The sample were 16 children with age range 9-12. Training was conducted for 9 sessions. Each session lasts for 1 hour 30 minutes. The results of data analysis showed that children's personal safety skills increased after child was given behavior skills training. The implication of this research is that children who attend the training are able to prevent themselves becoming the victims of child sexual abuse.
     
    Kekerasan seksual pada anak terjadi karena kurangnya keterampilan anak dalam melindungi dirinya menjadi korban. Oleh karena itu anak membutuhkan suatu keterampilan melindungi diri dari kekerasan seksual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas behavior skills training dalam meningkatkan personal safety skills sebagai prevensi terhadap kekerasan seksual pada anak. Behavior skills training adalah suatu tahapan pelatihan yang terdiri dari instruction, modeling, rehearsal, dan feedback yang dalam hal ini digunakan untuk meningkatkan personal safety skills. Peningkatan personal safety skills akan diukur dengan menggunakan skala. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group. Sampel berjumlah 16 orang dengan rentang usia 9-12. Pelatihan dilakukan selama 9 sesi. Setiap sesi berlangsung selama 1 jam 30 menit. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa personal safety skills anak meningkat setelah anak diberikan behavior skills training. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah anak-anak yang mengikuti pelatihan ini mampu mencegah dirinya menjadi korban kekerasan seksual.
