Persepsi dan Partisipasi Masyarakat Terhadap Pengelolaan Ekowisata di Desa Sipangan Bolon Kecamatan Girsang Sipangan Bolon Kabupaten Simalungun

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the public perception of ecotourism management is high where as much as 68.2 % of respondents claimed to know. Public perception of the potential of ecotourism is high where as much as 54.5% of respondents claimed to know it. Public perception of the infrastructure is low where as much as 40.9% of respondents didn’t know. Public perception of the social culture is high where as much as 48.5% of respondents know. Public perception of the government's policy was moderate where as much as 56.1% of respondents undecided. Public participation of the potential of ecotourism is high where as much as 54.5% of respondents claimed to know. Public participation in the infrastructure is high where as much as 50.0% of respondents claimed to know. Public participation in the social culture is moderate where as much as 47.0% of respondents undecided. Public participation in government policy is low where as much as 51.5% of respondents didn’t know. Factors of knowledge, interpretation off, trends, employment opportunities, and the opportunity to participate are positively affects community participation in the management of ecotourism in the Village of Sipangan Bolon. And factors of knowledge, job opportunities, and the opportunity to participate significantly influence people's participation in the management of ecotourism.

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan ekowisata adalah tinggi di mana sebanyak 68.2% responden menyatakan mengetahui. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap potensi ekowisata adalah tinggi di mana sebanyak 54.5% responden menyatakan mengetahui. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap sarana dan prasarana adalah rendah di mana sebanyak 40.9% responden menyatakan tidak mengetahui. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap sosial budaya adalah tinggi di mana sebanyak 48.5% responden menjawab mengetahui. Persepsi masyarakat terhadap kebijakan pemerintah adalah sedang di mana sebanyak 56.1% responden menyatakan ragu-ragu. Partisipasi masyarakat terhadap potensi wisata adalah tinggi di mana sebanyak 54.5% responden menyatakan mengetahui. Partisipasi masyarakat terhadap sarana dan prasarana adalah tinggi di mana sebanyak 50.0% responden menyatakan mengetahui. Partisipasi masyarakat terhadap sosial budaya adalah sedang di mana sebanyak 47.0% responden menyatakan ragu-ragu. Partisipasi masyarakat terhadap kebijakan pemerintah adalah rendah di mana sebanyak 51.5% responden menyatakan tidak mengetahui. Faktor pengetahuan, penginterpretasian, kecenderungan, kesempatan kerja, dan kesempatan berpartisipasi berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan ekowisata di Desa Sipangan Bolon. Dan faktor pengetahuan, kesempatan kerja, dan kesempatan berpartisipasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan ekowisata.
