Gambaran Karakteristik Dermatofitosis di RSUP Haji Adam Malik Periode 1 Januari 2015 Sampai dengan 31 Desember 2015

Abstract

Introduction: Dermatophyrosis is a disease that affects keratine cells that is caused by dermatophyton. Dermatophyton are fungus that can be the parasites of the skin which includes Microsporum, Epidermophyton, and Trichophyton. To this day, superficial fungal infection still generally found throguhout the world. Objectives: The study has the aim to know the prevalence of dermatophytosis in Haji Adam Malik General Hospital, period of January 1st 2015 to December 31st 2015 in accordance to the types of dermatophytosis, gender, age and occupation. Methods: The study is a descriptive study to know the pictures of dermatophytosis characteristics in H Adam Malik General Hospital. The design of the study is cross-sectional. Results:The study shows the male gender that has dermatophytosis is 54 respondents (51.4%) and female is 51 respondents (48.6%). The age group that has the most prevalent dermatophytosis is 40-59 years old with 38 respondents (36.2%). The occupation of the respondents infected with dermatophytosis is most prevalent in non governmental jobs or entrepreneurs with 40 respondents (38.1%). The types of dermatophytosis that is most prevalently found within the occupational group is tinea corporis in the non governmental jobs or entrepreneur with 1t respondents (14.3%). The dermatophytosis types within age group is mostly found in male with tinea cruris with 23 respondents (21.9%). The dermatophytosis types within age group is most prevalently found iin the age group of <10-19 years old which is tinea cruris with 13 respondents (12.4%). Conclussion: It can be concluded from the study that dermatophytosis mainly affects male, within 40-59 age group and has occupation in non governmental jobs or entrepreneur.

Latar Belakang: Dermatofitosis adalah penyakit pada jaringan yang mengandung zat tanduk yang disebabkan oleh golongan jamur dermatofita. Dermatofita adalah jamur yang menjadi parasit kulit meliputi Microsporum, Epidermophyton, dan Trichophton. Hingga saat ini infeksi jamur superfisial masih umum ditemukan di seluruh dunia. Objektif: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui angka kejadian dermatofitosis di RSUP Haji Adam Malik Periode 1 Januari 2015 sampai dengan 31 Desember 2015 berdasarkan jenis klasifikasi dermatofitosis, jenis kelamin, usia dan pekerjaan. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif untuk melihat gambaran karakteristik dermatofitosis di RSUP H Adam Malik Medan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain potong lintang. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan jenis kelamin pria menderita dermatofitosis sebanyak 54 responden (51.4%) dan wanita sebanyak 51 responden (48.6%). Golongan usia penderita dermatofitosis paling banyak ditemukan pada usia 40-59 tahun sebanyak 38 responden (36.2%). Pekerjaan penderita dermatofitosis paling banyak ditemukan pada instansi non pemerintah atau mandiri sebanyak 40 responden (38.1%). Jenis dermatofitosis yang paling sering ditemukan pada pekerjaan adalah tinea korporis pada instansi non pemerintah atau mandiri sebanyak 15 responden (14/3%). Jenis dermatofitosis berdasarkan usia paling banyak ditemukan adalah laki-laki dengan tinea kruris sebanyak 23 responden (21.9%). Jenis dermatofitosis berdasarkan usia paling banyak ditemukan pada usia <10-19 tahun yaitu tinea kruris sebanyak 13 orang (12.4%). Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penderita dermatofitosis di RSUP H Adam Malik paling banyak ditemukan pada pria, rentang usia 40-59 tahun dan bekerja pada instansi non pemerintah atau mandiri.
