Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Aset pada Perguruan Tinggi di Kota Medan (Studi Kasus pada Institut Teknologi Medan dan STMIK Potensi Utama)

Abstract

Good Asset Management is an advantage for the owner of the college. With teraplikasinya asset management system, the owner will be able to predict not only operational costs but also can predict the value (capital gain) that will be obtained in the future. This study aims to evaluate and analyze how asset management application in STMIK Potensi Utama and Instituteof Technology Medan has met the standard of ISO 55000. type is descriptive quantitative research. Called descriptive quantitative research because the research aimed to explore the characteristics, elements or properties of a phenomenon. The population studied was overall employee and the board of trustees of STMIK Potensi Utama and Instituteof Technology Medan. Population of less than 100 people, the sample taken as a whole. Then the sample in this study was 55 people. The results of this study show needs to be disseminated and the rules by the authorities in charge of the college about the importance of good asset management practices based on ISO 55000 in order to maintain the quality of the college environment, the implementation of asset management planning in STMIK Potensi Utama and Instituteof Technology Medan is not in accordance with the ISO 55000 standard , application of asset management implementation in the Main Potential STMIK Potensi Utama and Instituteof Technology Medanis not in accordance with the ISO 55000 standard, the application of the management of the assets in the variable STMIK Potensi Utama Financing asset (asset Costing), Creation of asset (asset Creation), Knowledge and Data on asset (asset knowlodge and data), and Analysis of Risk (Risk Assessment) application is in conformity with the ISO 55000 standard, the implementation of asset management in the management of Instituteof Technology Medan is not in accordance with the ISO 55000 standard.

Manajemen Aset yang baik merupakan keuntungan bagi pemilik perguruan tinggi. Dengan teraplikasinya sistem manajemen aset, pemilik bukan hanya dapat memprediksi akan biaya operasional tetapi juga dapat memprediksi pertambahan nilai (capital gain) yang akan didapat pada masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis bagaimanakah penerapan manajemen aset di STMIK Potensi Utama dan Institut Teknologi Medan lalu sudah memenuhi standart ISO 55000. Jenis Penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian disebut deskriptif kuantitatif karena penelitian bertujuan untuk mencari ciri-ciri, unsur-unsur ataupun sifat-sifat suatu fenomena.Populasi yang diteliti adalah keseluruhan pegawai dan pengurus yayasan dari STMIK Potensi Utama dan Insitut Teknologi Medan. Populasi kurang dari 100 orang maka sampel diambil secara keseluruhan. Maka sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 55 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan aturan oleh pihak pemerintah yang membawahi perguruan tinggi tentang pentingnya penerapan manajemen aset yang baik berdasarkan ISO 55000 dalam rangka menjaga kualitas lingkungan perguruan tinggi, penerapan perencanaan manajemen aset di STMIK Potensi Utama dan ITM belum sesuai dengan standar ISO 55000, penerapan pelaksanaan manajemen aset di STMIK Potensi Utamadan ITM belum sesuai dengan standar ISO 55000, penerapan pengelolaan manajemen aset di STMIK Potensi Utama terhadap variabel Pembiayaan Aset (Aset Costing), Penciptaan Aset (Asset Creation), Pengetahuan dan Data tentang Aset (Asset Knowlodge and Data), dan Analisis Tingkat Resiko (Risk Assesment) penerapannya sudah sesuai dengan standar ISO 55000, penerapan pengelolaan manajemen aset di ITM belum sesuai dengan standar ISO 55000.
