    Abstract
The modified of polysulfon membranes have been prepared by using 15% of polysulfon, 15% of polyethylen glikol (PEG) and then by adding 0%; 5%; 10%; 15%; 20%; and 25% concentration of bentonites. The experimental of membrane used the phase inversion method through with precipitation method which its variations thickness of all the membranes were 0.13 – 0.32 mm. Characterization of membranes used spectral FTIR, SEM-EDX, TGA and then flux test by used system of dead end flow. Turbidity, pH, TSS and TDS are measured as parameter analysis of river water. The surface analysis of M1 membrane (polysulfon-PEG) showed a big pores but were not tight enough and there were accumulation (groups) of pores which dispersed, but it was different of M4 membrane (polysulfon-PEG-bentonite 15%), the pores more small, tight and there were not accumulation (groups) of pores. TGA analysis showed, by adding of bentonite can increase the endurence of thermal membrane. The optimum flux was showed by M4 membrane (Psf-PEG-Bentonit 15%) with its flux was 11.47 L.m-2.Jam-1. The result of the paramater analysis of river water after filtration were showed decreasing for all modificated membranes.
