    Studi Pengolahan Air Limbah Tahu dengan Metode Anaerob Tersuspensi dan Fitoremediasi Oleh Tanaman Ganggang (Hydrilla Verticillata) dalam Penurunan COD dan TSS

    Abstract
    This study aims to determine the effect of tofu wastewater contact time on the reduction of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Total Suspended Solid (TSS) in the anaerobic process and phytoremediation and to determine the effect of variations in the mass of algae plants (Hydrilla verticillata) on the removal of levels of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) ) and Total Suspended Solid (TSS). In this study anaerobic reactor method was suspended, and the phytoremediation reactor was used. In the anaerobic process carried out in two stages, namely the stage of seeding and running. The phytoremediation process is carried out in three stages, namely the neutralization, acclimatization and running stages. The seeding stage in the anaerobic process is carried out to determine the growth of microorganisms that are marked by a decrease in COD with fluctuations  10%. The running stage in the anaerobic process is done up to a COD reduction of 60% -70%. The neutralization process in the phytoremediation process aims to clean and neutralize plants. The acclimatization phase aims to accustom or adapt plants from initial environmental conditions to new environments. Running stage in the phytoremediation process there are two variations, namely variations in contact time and variations in plant mass. The results showed that the anaerobic process was suspended with a COD removal efficiency of 69.78% and TSS of 18.99%. Meanwhile, in the phytoremediation process, the removal efficiency of COD concentrations with a mass of 200 grams decreased the best COD concentration up to H6 by 86.10%, but an increase in COD value on H7 thus reducing the removal efficiency to 77.97% due to deaths and plant spoilage. While the removal efficiency of TSS concentration on H7 decreased the best TSS concentration at mass 100 grams by 82.94%.
     
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu kontak air limbah tahu terhadap penurunan Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) dan Total Suspended Solid (TSS) pada proses anaerob tersuspensi dan fitoremediasi serta mengetahui pengaruh variasi massa tanaman ganggang (Hydrilla verticillata) terhadap penyisihan kadar ChemicalOxygen Demand (COD) dan Total Suspended Solid (TSS). Pada penelitian ini digunakan reaktor anaerob metode tersuspensi, dan reaktor fitoremediasi. Pada proses anaerob dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu tahap seeding dan running. Pada proses fitoremediasi dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu tahap netralisasi, aklimatisasi dan running. Tahap seeding pada proses anaerob dilakukan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan mikroorganisme yang ditandai terjadinya penurunan COD dengan fluktuasi  10%. Tahap running pada proses anaerob dilakukan hingga penurunan COD sebesar 60%-70%. Proses netralisasi pada proses fitoremediasi bertujuan untuk membersihkan dan menetralkan tanaman Tahap aklimatisasi bertujuan untuk membiasakan atau mengadaptasikan tanaman dari keadaan lingkungan awal ke lingkungan baru. Tahap Running pada proses fitoremediasi terdapat dua variasi yaitu variasi waktu kontak dan variasi massa tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada proses anaerob tersuspensi efisiensi penyisihan COD sebesar 69,78 % dan TSS sebesar 18,99%. Sementara itu pada proses fitoremediasi, efisiensi penyisihan konsentraasi COD dengan massa 200 gram terjadi penurunan konsentrasi COD terbaik hingga H6 sebesar 86,10 %, namun terjadi kenaikan nilai COD pada H7 sehingga menurunkan efisiensi penyisihan menjadi 77,97% disebabkan terjadinya kematian dan pembusukan tanaman. Sedangkan efisiensi penyisihan konsentrasi TSS pada H7 terjadi penurunan konsentrasi TSS terbaik pada massa 100 gram sebesar 82,94%.
