Pengaruh Ekstrak Etanol Daun Sembung Rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth.) Terhadap Mortalitas, Daya Tetas Telur dan Perkembangan Larva Aedes aegypti Linn.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang pengaruh ekstrak etanol daun M. micrantha terhadap mortalitas, daya tetas telur dan perkembangan larva A. aegypti telah dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan lima kali ulangan. Uji mortalitas larva instar III dilakukan dengan perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun M. micrantha yaitu 0,2%, 0,4%, 0,6%, 0,8% dan 0,1% menghasilkan nilai LC50 sebesar 0,58%. Ekstrak etanol daun M. micrantha pada konsentrasi sublethal yaitu 0,1%, 0,2%, 0,3%, 0,4%, 0,5% menunjukkan pengaruh berbeda nyata terhadap mortalitas larva, daya tetas telur dan perkembangan larva (p≤ 0,05). Konsentrasi sublethal sebesar 0,4% ekstrak etanol daun M. micrantha efektif dalam menekan daya tetas telur sebesar 41,6%, perkembangan larva menjadi pupa sebesar 19,5% dan perkembangan pupa menjadi imago sebesar 63,3%.

Research on the effect of ethanol extract of M. micrantha leaves on mortality, hatchability and development of A. aegypti larvae has conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five concentration and five replications. Mortality test of third instar larvae was carried out by the ethanol extract concentration of M. micrantha leaves, which were 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8% and 0,1% resulting in an LC50 value of 0.58%. The effect of ethanol extract of M. micrantha leaves at sublethal concentrations of 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4%, 0.5% showed significantly effects on larval mortality, hatchability and larval development (p≤0.05). Sublethal concentration by 0.4% of the ethanol extract of M. micrantha leaves was effective in suppressing egg hatchability by 41.6%, the development of larvae into pupae by 19.5% and the development of pupae into imago by 63.3%.
