    Analisa Struktur Kristal dan Sifat Magnetik Cobalt Ferrit (CoFe2O4) Powder yang Dibuat pada Komposisi Stokiometri dan Non-Stokiometri

    Abstract
    Telah disintesis karakterisasi struktur kristal dan sifat magnetik magnet nanopartikel Cobalt Ferrite (COFe2O4) dengan menggunakan metode presipitasi dan solid-solid mixing, di kalsinasi pada suhu 1050°C dan ditahan (Holding Time) selama 2 jam. Metode bahan baku utama sintesis nanopartikel CoFe2O4 adalah CoCl2 dan FeCl3. Proses presipitasi dilakukan dengan cara mereaksikan sampel FeCl3 dan CoCl2 3,75M NaOH pada komposisi stoikiometri 1:1 dan nonstoikiometri 1:0,8 dan 1:1,2.Hasil sintesis dikeringkan dengan oven selama 24 jam pada T=100°C sampai membentuk serbuk. Proses solid-solid mixing dilakukan dengan mencampurkan sampel yang telah berbentuk serbuk dan digerus menggunakan hand mortar. Sampel yang telah mengering dikalsinasi menggunakan furnace.Dari data kurva histerisis hasil karakterisasi VSM (Vibrating Sample Magnetometer), dapat dilihat bahwa bahan yang digunakan bersifat Soft Magnetic. Hasil pengukuran sifat magnet menunjukkan bahwa bahan CoFe2O4 memiliki medan koersivitas 0,353 KOe, magnetisasi saturasi 50,11 emu/g dan magnetisasi remanensi 12,10 emu/g. Hasil terbaik ditunjukkan pada komposisi Non Stoikiometri 1:1,2. Karakterisasi dengan XRay Difraktometer (XRD) dilakukan untuk menentukan fase dan parameter kisi, sedangkan penentuan ukuran kristal digunakan persamaan Scherrer yang menunjukkan bahwa ukuran kristal menurun seiring dengan meningkatnya perbandingan mol pada setiap komposisi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis XRD dan dengan menerapkan persamaan Scherrer, diketahui ukuran kristal sebesar 41,43 nm pada komposisi stoikiometri 1:1 dan 61,70 nm dan 2,67 nm pada komposisi nonstoikiometri 1;1,2.
     
    Crystal structure characterization and magnetic properties of Cobalt Ferrite nanoparticles (COFe2O4) have been synthesized using precipitation and Solid-solid mixing method, calcined at 1050°C and held (Holding time) for2 hours. The main raw material method for CoFe2O4 nanoparticles synthesis is CoCl2 and FeCl3. The deposition process wascarried out by react the samples of CoCl2 and FeCl3 3,75 M. NaOH in the stoiciometric composition 1:1 and nonstoiciometry 1:0,8 and 1:1,2. The synthesized product was dried in anoven for 24 hours at T=100°C to from powder. The process of Solid-solid mixing is done by mix the samples that have been in powder form and crushed using a hand mortar. The samples that have been dried are calcined using a furnace. Based on the hysteresis curve datathe VSM characterization (Vibrating Sample Magnetometer), it can been that the material used is Soft Magnetic. The resultof magneticproperties measurements showed that CoFe2O4 material have 0564 coercivity field of KOe, 42.78 emu/g of saturation magnetization, and 10.80 emu/g of remanence magnetization. The best result are shown in nonstoiciometry 1:1,2 compositions. The characterization by X-Ray Diffractions (XRD) was carried out to determine the lattice phase and parameters, while the determination of the crystal size is using the Scherrer equation which shows that the crystal size decreases along with increasing the duration of sample stirring. Based on the XRD analysis result and b applying the Scherrer equation, it is known that he crystal size is equal to 41.43 nm in stoichiometry compositions 1:1 and 61.70 nm in nonstoichiometry compositions 1:0,8 and 2.67 nm in nonstoichiometry compositions 1:1.2.
