Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh
Pengetahuan Investasi, Motivasi Investasi dan Persepsi Modal Minimal terhadap
Minat Investasi di Pasar Modal pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis
Universitas Sumatera Utara dan juga untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor
yang paling dominan mempengaruhi Minat Investasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan
pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa S1 Reguler angkatan 2015
Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Sumatera Utara. Sampel diambil dengan
purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis
deskriptif dan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Jenis penelitian ini adalah
penelitian asosiatif dan data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder
yang diperoleh melalui studi dokumentasi dan daftar pertanyaan yang
pengukurannya menggunakan skala Likert dan Guttman. Data diolah secara
statistik dengan program SPSS for windows, yaitu model uji t, uji f dan koefisien
determinan (R2). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara serempak
Pengetahuan Investasi, Motivasi Investasi dan Persepsi Modal Minimal
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Minat Investasi. Secara parsial, variabel
Pengetahuan Investasi dan Motivasi Investasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan
terhadap Minat Investasi, Persepsi Modal Minimal berpengaruh negatif dan
signifikan terhadap Minat Investasi. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of
Investment Knowledge, Investment Motivation and Minimum Capital Perception
on Investment Interest in Capital Market at the Students of Faculty Economics
and Business, University of Sumatera Utara and also to find out and analyze the
most dominant factors influencing Investment Interest. This research was
conducted at the Students of Faculty of Economics and Business, University of
Sumatera Utara. The sample in this study were students of the S1 Reguler Faculty
of Economics and Business, University of Sumatera Utara.Samples were taken
with purposive sampling. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and
multiple linear regression analysis method. This type of research is associative
research and the data used are primary data and secondary data obtained through
documentation studies and questionnaires whose measurements use Likert scale
and Guttman scale. Data is processed statistically with the SPSS for Windows
program, namely the t test model, F test and determinant coefficient (R2). The
results of this study indicate that simultaneously the Investment Knowledge,
Investment Motivation and Minimum Capital Perception have significant effect
on Investment Interest. Partially, Investment Knowledge and Investment
Motivation have a positive and significant effect on Investment Interest,
Minimum Capital Perception has a negative and significant effect on Investment
Interest.
