dc.description.abstract | Telah dilakukan penelitian pembuatan beton bahan polimer dengan campuran resin
epoxy dan resin polyurethane berbasis limbah cangkang kopi dengan karakteristik
meliputi pengujian fisis yaitu uji densitas, uji porositas dan uji penyerapan air,
pengujian mekanik yaitu uji kuat kuat tekan, uji kuat tarik dan uji kuat lentur serta
pengujian mikrostruktur SEM-EDX. Penelitian in bertujuan untuk meningkatkan
nilai karakterisasi pembuatan beton dengan campuran resin epoxy dan resin
polyurethane. Komposisi resin epoxy dan resin polyurethane sebanyak (1 : 1) adalah
(15, 20, 25) gram. Cangkang kopi digunakan pada beton polimer dengan komposisi
(0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) gram. Proses pembuatan beton polimer dilakukan dengan
menggunakan Hotpress pada temperatur 170°C selama 30 menit. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa nilai densitas (1,21-1,51) gr/cm3; porositas (3,75-39,35) %;
penyerapan air (2,50-29,3) %; kuat tekan (1,73-18,04) MPa; kuat tarik (0,79-3,95)
MPa; dan kuat lentur (1,40-12,52) MPa. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa beton polimer
yang menggunakan campuran resin epoxy-polyurethane dapat meningkatkan
porositas, penyerapan air, kuat tekan, dan juga menurunkan densitas. Analisis
mikrostruktur SEM-EDX menunjukkan dengan penambahan campuran resin epoxy
dan resin polyurethane meningkatkan kualitas beton polimer. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | The research has been made to manufacture the polymer concrete materials with a
mixture of epoxy resin and polyurethane resin based on coffee shell with some
characterizations including physical tests namely density test, porosity test and water
absorption test, mechanical tests namely compressive strength test, tensile strength
test and flexural strength test, and SEM-EDX microstructure analization. This
research conduct to increase the value of characterization of manufacturing polymer
concrete with a mixture of epoxy resin and polyurethane resin with a ratio of 1 to 1
with composition of (15, 20, 25) grams. Coffee shell is used in manufacturing
polymer concrete with composition of (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) gram. The polymer concrete
manufacturing process is carried out using Hotpress at a temperature of 170°C for
30 minutes. The results showed that the density value (1.21-1.51) gr / cm3; porosity
(3,75-39,35)%; water absorption (2,50-29,3)%; compressive strength (1.73-18,04)
MPa; tensile strength (0.79-3.95) MPa; and flexural strength (1.40-12,52) MPa.
These results indicate that polymer concrete using a mixture of epoxy-polyurethane
resins can increase porosity, water absorption, compressive strength and decrease
density. SEM-EDX microstructure analysis shows that the addition of a mixture of
epoxy resins and polyurethane resins improves the quality of polymer concrete. | en_US |
