    Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Lama Mencari Kerja Bagi Tenaga Kerja Terdidik di Kota Medan

    Abstract
    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi lama mencari kerja bagi tenaga kerja terdidikdi KotaMedan dengan menggunakan data primer. Adapun variabel bebas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahumur, tingkat pendidikan, harapan pendapatan, dan jenis kelamin. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis terhadap pengaruh lama mencari kerja bagi tenaga kerja terdidik adalah analisis regresi linier bergandadengan menggunakan software untuk mengolah data yaitu dengan menggunakan Eviews7. Hasil estimasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa umur, pendidikan, dan harapan pendapatan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap lama mencari kerja bagi tenaga terdidik di Kota Medan. Terdapat perbedaan antara tenaga kerja terdidik laki-laki yang memiliki lama mencari kerja lebih rendah dibandingkan tenaga kerja terdidik perempuan.Nilai koefisien determinasi (r-square) sebesar 0,988 memberi informasi bahwa secara bersama-sama variabel umur, tingkat pendidikan, harapan pendapatan, jenis kelaminmampu menjelaskan variasi variabel lama mencari kerjasebesar 98,8%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 1,2% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain yang tidak disertakan pada model penelitian ini.
     
    The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the length of time seeking work for educated workers in the city of Medan by using primary data. The independent variables used in this study were age, education level, income expectations, and gender. The method used in the analysis of the effect of long time looking for work for educated labor is multiple linear regression analysis using software to process data that is by using Eviews7. The estimation results from this study indicate that age, education, and income expectations have a positive and significant effect on the length of time seeking work for educated workers in the city of Medan. There is a difference between educated men and women who have a long job search lower than female educated workers. The value of the coefficient of determination (r-square) of 0.988 informs that together the variables of age, education level, income expectation, gender are able to explain variations in the old variable looking for work by 98.8%, while the remaining 1.2% is explained by other factors not included in this research model.
