Evaluasi dan Pengembangan Jaringan Pipa Distribusi PDAM Tirta Deli dengan Aplikasi Epanet 2.0 Unit Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa

Abstract

[Evaluation and Development of Distribution Pipe PDAM Tirta Deli Tanjung Morawa District Unit Using EPANET 2.0]. Location of observation was in the Tirta Deli PDAM Tanjung Morawa District Unit, Deli Serdang Regency. The research method used in this study is to take randomly selected sample points by selecting locations based on height starting from the highest point to the lowest point and starting from the point closest to the Water Treatment Plant to the consumers who are furthest from the processing unit. Then, the data that has been collected is processed and analyzed using EPANET 2.0. The result of the execution of the EPANET program was a success, where water flowed to all customers served. The results show that the highest pressure value is 28,33 meters and the lowest pressure value is 18,46 meters. After that a comparison of EPANET 2.0 analysis with Hardy Cross method was conducted, and the results obtained did not show a very significant difference. Then, with a population of 66.105 people in 2018 with a production capacity of 50 liters / second, the PDAM Tirta Deli Tanjung Morawa District Unitis still able to serve customers with service targets at the end of the year projected to reach 48 percent or 70.453 people. In Tanjung Morawa District Unit with a total water demand of 24.288 m3 / month with a total of 1.612 house connections and when averaged, each customer's water demand is 15,06 m3 / Month. The drainage system uses pumps and distribution pipes that have sizes of 50,8 mm, 76,2 mm, 101,6 mm, 203,2 mm, and 254 mm with PVC (Polyvinil Chloride) types.

Lokasi pengamatan berada di PDAM Tirta Deli unit kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengambilan titik sampel yang dipilih secara acak dengan memilih lokasi berdasarkan ketinggian dimulai dari yang titik tertinggi sampai titik terendah dan dimulai dari titik yang paling dekat dengan Instalasi Pengolahan Air sampai ke konsumen yang paling jauh dari unit pengolahan. Data yang telah dikumpulkan diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan EPANET 2.0. Hasil eksekusi dari program EPANET adalah sukses, dimana air mengalir ke seluruh pelanggan yang dilayani. Hasil menunjukan bahwa nilai tekanan tertinggi adalah 28,33 meter dan nilai tekanan terendah adalah 18,46 meter. Setelah itu dilakukan perbandingan hasil analisis EPANET 2.0 dengan metode Hardy Cross, dan hasil yang didapat tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan. Dengan jumlah penduduk yang mencapai 66.105 jiwa pada tahun 2018 dengan kapasitas produksi 50 liter/detik, PDAM Tirta Deli unit Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa masih mampu melayani pelanggan dengan target pelayanan di akhir tahun proyeksi mencapai 48 persen atau berjumlah 70.453 jiwa. Di Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa total kebutuhan air 24.288 m3/bulan dengan jumlah pelanggan 1.612 sambungan rumah dan bila dirata-ratakan maka kebutuhan air tiap pelanggan adalah 15,06 m3/bulam. Adapun sistem pengaliran menggunakan pompa dan pipa distribusi yang ada memiliki ukuran 50,8 mm, 76,2 mm, 101,6 mm, 203,2 mm, dan 254 mm dengan jenis pipa PVC (Polyvinil Chloride).
