    Pembuatan dan Karakterisasi Beton Polimer Menggunakan Abu Vulkanik Sinabung dan Serbuk Bambu Sebagai Agregat dengan Perekat Epoksi

    Abstract
    Telah dilakukan penelitian pembuatan dan karakterisasi batako ringan dengan memanfaatkan : abu vulkanik, serbuk bambu, dan resin epoksi sebagai material pengikat. Variasi komposisi yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini meliputi variasi serbuk bambu : 0,5,10,15,20,25 dan 30 gram dari berat total abu vulkanik yang digunakan dan resin epoksi : 50 % dari total campuran abu vulkanik dan serat serbuk bambu. Besaran fisis dan mekanis yang dilakukan meliputi : densitas, daya serap air, porositas, kuat lentur dan kuat tekan. Nilai yang dihasilkan pada pengujian fisis dan mekanis meliputi : Densitas = 1,5966 – 1,4403 g/cm3, Daya Serap Air = 0,054 – 0,357 %, Porositas = 0,087 – 0,515 % dan sifat mekanis meliputi Kuat Tekan = 49,574 – 12,941MPa dan Kuat Lentur = 38,086 – 11,930 MPa. Penambahan serbuk bambu cenderung menurunkan densitas dan sifat mekanik dan meningkatkan nilai daya serap air, porositas.
     
    The study have done in research and manufacturing of lightweight brick, using volcanic ash, bamboo powder and epoxy resin as binding material. The composition variations made in this study included variations in bamboo powder: 0,5,10,15,20,25 and 30 grams of the total weight of volcanic ash used and epoxy resin: 50% of the total mixture of volcanic ash and bamboo powder. Physical and mechanical magnitude carried out include: density, water absorption, porosity, flexural strength, and compresisve strength. The values generated in physical and mechanical testing include: Density = 1,5966 – 1,4403 g / cm3, Water Absorption = 0,054 – 0,357 %, Porosity = 0,087 – 0,515 % and mechanical properties include Flexural Strength = 38,086 – 11,930 MPa, Compressive Strength = 49,574 – 12,941 MPa. Addition of bamboo powder tends to lower density and increase the value of water absorption, porosity and tensile strength
