    Sistem Parkir, Sensor Infra Merah, LED, Arduino, LDR

    Abstract
    In general the parking system is controlled manually which is guarded by officers standing in front of the entrance. Manually parking area management system has a weakness that is the inaccuracy of the parking attendant's calculation of how many vehicles have entered the parking area, so that it exceeds the parking area's capacity. To help ease the duties of parking area managers and improve parking area order, it is necessary to develop a system that can work continuously without a break with accurate results, namely a parking system that uses infrared sensors. When a vehicle (car) will enter the parking area, the vehicle will pass through a portal that has been installed infrared sensors with a microcontroller control and monitored using LEDs and LCDs to display empty / filled slot information. If the vehicle stops in front of the portal, the sensor will detect then the portal will automatically open if there is an empty parking slot, then the LED lights will light up and the vehicle user will go directly to the empty slot, but if the vehicle slot has been filled, then the LED lights will go out (die). If all parking area slots are full, all LEDs will turn off and the portal will not open and the vehicle user must move to the parking area or have to wait somewhere else until there is an empty parking slot.
     
    Secara umum sistem parkir dikendalikan secara manual yaitu dijaga oleh petugas dengan cara berdiri di depan pintu masuk. Sistem pengelolaan area parkir secara manual mempunyai kelemahan yaitu ketidak akuratan hasil hitungan petugas parkir tentang berapa kendaraan yang sudah masuk di area parkir, sehingga melebihi kapasitas area parkir.Untuk membantu meringankan tugas para pengelola area parkir dan meningkatkan ketertiban area parkir, perlu dikembangkan suatu sistem yang dapat bekerja secara terus-menerus tanpa istirahat dengan hasil yang akurat yaitu sebuah sistem parkir yang menggunakan sensor infra merah. Ketika sebuah kendaraan (mobil) akan masuk ke area parkir, kendaraan akan melewati sebuah portal yang telah di pasang sensor infra merah dengan kendali mikrokontroler dan di monitor menggunakan LED dan LCD untuk penampil informasi slot kosong/terisi. Jika kendaraan berhenti di depan portal, sensor akan mendeteksi lalu portal akan otomatis terbuka jika ada slot parkir yang kosong, maka lampu LED akan menyala dan pengguna kendaraan akan langsung menuju slot yang kosong tersebut, tetapi jika slot kendaraan telah terisi, maka lampu LED akan padam (mati). Jika seluruh slot area parkir telah penuh, maka seluruh LED akan padam serta portal tidak akan terbuka dan pengguna kendaraan tersebut harus pindah area parkir atau harus menunggu di tempat lain hingga ada slot parkir yang kosong.
