dc.description.abstract | Medical device is one of the supporting facilities for the realization of a good quality service from a hospital and clinic service industry. Electrolarynx is a speech aid for people with larynx disabilities or patients who have their vocal cords removed to continue speaking. This tool functions to produce sound by placing it on the patient's neck after surgical removal of the vocal cords. This research is entitled Improvement of Electrolarynx Tool Design with Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and Value Engineerig Method. The results of Phase I Quality Function Deployment (QFD) are technical characteristics in the form of convenience of Use, standardization of materials, and durability which are priorities and become input to Phase II of Quality Function Deployment (QFD). The results of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) phase II are critical parts of the quality of the main tube material, battery life and rope durability which are priority and become Value Engineering inputs. The results of Value Engineering provide alternative improvements to the materials used thereby reducing the cost of producing Electrolarynx equipment. From the results of this study, an alternative to the main tube material is Polyethylene, the type of battery is Sony 4600mAh rechargeable AA battery and the type of rope is nylon with a length of 35cm with a saving of 40% from the initial cost. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | Peralatan kesehatan merupakan salah satu fasilitas penunjang terwujudnya
kualitas pelayanan yang baik dari suatu industri jasa rumah sakit dan klinik.
Electrolarynx merupakan alat bantu bicara untuk penderita tuna laring atau pasien
yang sudah diangkat pita suaranya untuk tetap bisa berbicara. Alat ini berfungsi
untuk menghasilkan suara dengan cara ditempelkan pada bagian leher pasien
pasca operasi pengangkatan pita suara. Penelitian ini berjudul Perbaikan
Rancangan Alat Eelectrolarynx Dengan Metode Quality Function Deployment
(QFD) dan Value Engineerig. Hasil dari Quality Function Deployment (QFD) fase
I yaitu karakteristik teknis berupa convenience of Use, standarisasi bahan, dan
durability yang menjadi prioritas dan menjadi input pada Quality Function
Deployment (QFD) fase II. Hasil dari Quality Function Deployment (QFD) fase II
yaitu part kritis kualitas bahan tabung utama, daya tahan baterai dan daya tahan
tali yang menjadi prioritas dan menjadi input Value Engineering. Hasil dari Value
Engineering memberikan alternatif perbaikan terhadap bahan yang digunakan
sehingga mengurangi biaya produksi alat Electrolarynx. Dari hasil penelitian ini
didapatkan alternatif bahan tabung utama plastik Polyethylene, jenis baterai adalah
baterai rechargeable AA Sony 4600mAh dan jenis tali nylon panjang 35 cm dengan
penghematan sebesar 40% dari biaya awal. | en_US |
