Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Ekspor Kubis di Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia

Abstract

Natasya Veronica S (177039016) with the thesis title "Analysis of Factors Affecting Cabbage Exports from Karo District to Malaysia". The writing of this thesis is guided by Mr. Dr. Ir. Rahmanta, M.Sc As Chair of the Supervising Commission and Mrs. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS As Member of the Supervising Commission. Cabbage production in Karo District has experienced fluctuations that have tended to increase over the past five years and export demand has tended to increase. This study aims to analyze the effect of cabbage production variables in Karo District, domestic cabbage prices, Malaysian international prices and the rupiah exchange rate to ringgit, on the volume of cabbage exports from Karo Regency to Malaysia in the period 2008;Q1-2017;Q4 using the linear regression analysis method through the SPSS 15.0 Program. The analysis shows that cabbage production variable has a positive and significant effect on cabbage exports from Karo Regency to Malaysia, domestic cabbage prices have a negative and significant effect on cabbage exports from Karo Regency to Malaysia, Malaysian international prices have a negative and not significant effect on cabbage exports from Karo Regency to Malaysia and the rupiah exchange rate against the ringgit have a significant negative effect on cabbage exports from Karo Regency to Malaysia.

Rahmanta, M.Si Sebagai Ketua Komisi Pembimbing dan Ibu Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS Sebagai Anggota Komisi Pembimbing. Produksi kubis di Kabupaten Karo mengalami fluktuasi yang cenderung meningkat selama lima tahun terakhir dan permintaan ekspor yang juga cenderung mengalami peningkatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel produksi kubis di Kabupaten Karo, harga domestik kubis, harga internasional Malaysia dan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap ringgit, terhadap volume ekspor kubis dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia periode 2008;Q1-2017;Q4 dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda melalui Program SPSS 15.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan variabel produksi kubis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap ekspor kubis dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia, harga domestik kubis berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap ekspor kubis dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia, harga internasional Malaysia berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap ekspor kubis dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia dan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap ringgit berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap ekspor kubis dari Kabupaten Karo ke Malaysia.
