| dc.description.abstract | PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa is a distributor of consumer goods products that has depots and stock points in each district/city and one distribution center (DC). In serving register outlets the mode of transportation used is not optimal yet in providing services, because of the distribution process is only concentrated on taking orders salesman so that has implications for the total of register outlets served, the quantity of products sold and distribution costs.
Robust optimization is a method that used to optimize the transportation mode with the approach used to obtain solutions that are not sensitive to the uncertainty factors that can affect. Performance parameters used in optimizing transportation mode with robust optimization methods are the achievements of register outlets served and visited, the quantity of products distributed and sold, the time of distribution and the number of transportation mode used which have an impact the minimum cost transport.
The proposal to optimize the mode transportation by using a robust optimization method saves a total distribution cost Rp. 538,065 with an average 23 register outlets served and visited, the realization of 20 outlets, the average number of products sold directly 173 cartons, the total propose distribution time is 301,36 minutes while the realization 416,37 minutes, the number of transportations mode used is the propose and the realization of 3 units. | en_US |
