    Kajian Beberapa Metode Perhitungan Nilai Evapotranspirasi Potensial (Studi Kasus Desa Semangat Kecamatan Merdeka Kabupaten Karo)

    Abstract
    Water is one of the primary human needs. Almost all human activities require water. So, water availability becomes an important issue for observation. This study aims to calculate the value of the amount of evapotranspiration using several methods of measuring evapotranspiration in the village of spirit, Merdeka District, Karo Regency. This study uses the Observation Method, by measuring daily temperature, relative humidity, and wind speed. In addition, this study uses secondary data obtained from BMKG and literature, including data on solar radiation and radiation. Based on the results of the calculations that have been carried out, the average monthly evapotranspiration results from 01 May-15 August 2019 are consecutively obtained. also using the Blaney Criddle method were 3,499 mm / day, 3,413 mm / day, 3,405 mm / day, and 3,578 mm / day, using the Penman method were 4,025 mm / day, 4,054 mm / day, 3,973 mm / day and 4,247 mm / days and using the Hargreaves method were 5,529 mm / day, 4,939 mm / day, 5,455 mm / day and 4,990 mm / day.     Air merupakan salah satu kebutuhan primer manusia. Hampir semua aktivitas manusia memerlukan air. Maka, ketersediaan air menjadi isu yang penting untuk dilakukannya observasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung nilai besaran evapotranspirasi menggunakan beberapa metode pengukuran evapotranspirasi pada daerah Desa semangat, Kecamatan Merdeka, Kabupaten Karo. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Observasi, dengan melakukan pengukuran suhu harian, kelembaban relatif, dan kecepatan angin. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang didapat dari BMKG dan literatur, antara lain, data penyinaran matahari dan radiasi.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil rata-rata evapotranspirasi bulanan dari tanggal 01 Mei-15 Agustus 2019 secara berturut-turut menggunakan metode Blaney Criddle adalah 3,499 mm/hari, 3,413 mm/hari, 3,405 mm/hari, dan 3,578 mm/hari, dengan menggunakan metode Penman adalah 4,025 mm/hari, 4,054 mm/hari, 3,973 mm/hari dan 4,247 mm/hari dan menggunakan metode Hargreaves adalah 5,529 mm/hari, 4,939 mm/hari, 5,455 mm/hari dan 4,990 mm/hari.
