dc.description.abstractSrihara Bintang Simbolon (187039001) with the title of thesis "Marketing Strategy of Brown Sugar from Palm Oil Nira in Serdang Bedagai Regency". The writing of this thesis was supervised by Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS as Chairman of the Advisory Commission and Dr. Lindawati, SP, MSi as Member of the Advisory Commission. This study aims to determine a) the results of analysis of palm oil palm sugar farming, b) palm sugar marketing system, c) internal and external factors that affect this business, and d) formulate alternative marketing strategies for palm oil palm sugar business in the district. Serdang Bedagai. This research was conducted from May to August 2020. This study used a purposive sampling method with 30 craftsman respondents and 10 marketing agent respondents. The data analysis methods include farm analysis, marketing aspects, IFE / EFE, SWOT and QSPM. The results showed that the R / C ratio obtained by the craftsmen was 1.044, where the R / C ratio was greater than 1 (1.044> 1), meaning that the business was feasible to run. Analysis of the marketing aspects of the farmer's share and the value of marketing efficiency on all marketing channels has been running efficiently. Based on the SWOT analysis, the position of the business is in quadrant I, the alternative strategy using the S-O strategy is to support aggressive growth. The results of QSPM, the strategic priority is to expand the marketing area with the highest total TAS, namely 5.55.en_US
dc.description.abstractSrihara Bintang Simbolon (187039001) dengan judul tesis “Strategi Pemasaran Gula Merah dari Nira Kelapa Sawit di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai”. Penulisan tesis ini di bimbing oleh ibu Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS selaku Ketua Komisi Pembimbing dan ibu Dr. Lindawati, SP, MSi selaku Anggota Komisi Pembimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui a) hasil analisis usahatani gula merah kelapa sawit, b) system pemasaran gula merah sawit, c) faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi usaha ini, dan d) merumuskan alternative strategi pemasaran usaha gula merah kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan 30 responden pengrajin dan 10 responden agen pemasaran. Metode analisis data meliputi analisis usahatani, aspek pemasaran, IFE/EFE, SWOT dan QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai R/C Ratio yang diperoleh pengrajin adalah sebesar 1,044 dimana R/C Ratio lebih besar dari 1 (1,044>1) berarti usaha tersebut layak untuk diusahakan. Analisis aspek pemasaran farmer's share dan nilai efisiensi pemasaran pada semua saluran pemasaran sudah berjalan efisien. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT, posisi usaha berada pada kuadran I, alternatif strategi pengembangan dengan menggunakan strategi S-O yaitu mendukung pertumbuhan agresif. Hasil QSPM, prioritas strategi adalah memperluas daerah pemasaran dengan total TAS tertinggi yaitu 5,55.en_US
