    Pembuatan dan Karakterisasi Film Bioplastik Pati Porang (Amorphophallus, SP) dan Kitosan dengan Plasticizer Sorbitol

    Abstract
    Film bioplastik pati porang (Amofphophalus, SP) dan kitosan dengan plasticizer sorbitol dibuat dengan proses pemanasan pada suhu 80-85oC dan pengeringan pada suhu 60oC. Hasil terbaik film bioplastik diperoleh pada konsentrasi pati porang 50 % , kitosan 50% dengan konsentrasi sorbitol 60% dengan nilai kuat tarik 10,433 Mpa, nilai ketebalan 0,02mm, nilai densitas 6,363 g/cm3, nilai elongation 19,564%, dan nilai ketahanan terhadap air 20% . Hasil spektrum FT-IR menunjukkan tidak adanya perubahann bilangan gelombang dari spektrum pati porang, kitosan dan sorbitol dengan gugus fungsi O-H, C-O, dan N-H. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa film yang dihasilkan hanya berinteraksi secara fisik. Analisis SEM terlihat adanya titik-titik putih dan lekukan pada permukaan film bioplastik hal ini menandakan bahwa pati porang pada film bioplastik belum terlarut sempurna sehingga film bioplatik pati porang memiliki permukaan yang tidak merata.
     
    The Bioplastic film from porang's strach (Amofphophalus, SP) and chitosan with sorbitol plasticizer is made by heating at a temperature of 80-85⁰C and drying at a temperature of 60⁰C. The best results of bioplastic films were obtained at a concentration of 50% porang's starch, 50% chitosan with 60% sorbitol volume concentration have value of tense strength 10.433 Mpa, value of thickness 0.02 mm, value of density 6.363 g / cm3, value of elongaton 19.564%, and value of water resistance 20%. The FT-IR spectrum results showed that nothing change in the wave number of the porang strach, chitosan and sorbitol spectra with the O-H, C-O, and N-H functional groups. This is showing that the result of film only physically interacted. SEM analysis shows that there are white dots and grooves on the surface of the bioplastic film, this indicated that the porang's starch in the bioplastic film has not been completely dissolved so that the porang's starch bioplastic film has an unsmooth surface.
