porang padaplastikbiodegradable belum terlarut sempurna sehingga plastic
The Biodegradable Plastic From porang's strach and chitosan with gliserol
plasticizer is made by heating at a temperature of 80-85⁰C and drying at a
temperature of 60⁰C. The best results of bioplastic films were obtained at a
concentration of 40% porang's starch, 60% chitosan with 80% gliserol volume
concentration have value of tensile strength 20,8902 Mpa, value of thickness 0,384
mm, value of elongation 9,7226 %, and value of biodegradability 85,7%. The FT-IR
spectrum results showed that nothing change in the wave number of the porang
strach, chitosan and sorbitol spectra with the O-H, C-O, and N-H functional groups.
This is showing that the result of the plastic is only physically interacted. SEM
analysis shows that there are white dots and grooves on the surface of the
biodegradable plastic, this indicated that the porang's starch in the bidegradable
plastic has not been completely dissolved so that the porang's starch of
biodegradable plastic has an unsmooth surface.
