    Peran Kompensasi dalam Meningkatkan Produktivitas Staf di PT Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia

    Abstract
    The background of this research is coming from the decreasing tendency of the productivity of human resources (HR) at PT Anglo Eastern Management Indonesia in the range of year 2013 to 2017, occured fluctuation of performance appraisal scores at Assistant level (supervisor). On the one hand, the plantation industries which is currently facing negative issues both from home and abroad has somewhat affected the business of plantation industries in Indonesia. Production costs (including labor costs) are rising from year to year, unbalanced with the increasing of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) prices. This facts encourage researcher to conduct research on how the role of compensation to the productivity of HR at PT Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia. The purposes of this study are: a) to analyze the main factors that influence the increase in HR productivity at PT Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia is associated with compensation; b) formulate strategies and compensation policies to increase HR productivity at PT Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia. The type of research is descriptive correlation, purpose for describing systematically, factually and accurately the facts and characteristics of an object or population by detecting the extent of correlation coefficients between independent variablesand dependent variable. The results of this study found that,as overall compensation has a positive effect on HR productivity at PT Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia, this is in accordance with the results of statistical tests of multiple regression analysis using the F-test, where the calculated critical value of F is 163.455, while Ftable is 2.72, then the critical value of Fis greater than Ftable, thereforecan be concluded H1 is accepted. While partially, it was found that each variable had a positive effect on HR productivity at PT. Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia. This is indicated by the critical value of t test for each component (tvalueX1 = 8.618; tvalue X2 = 1.675 and tvalue X3 = 2.071) greater than ttable = 1.665). The result testified that companies also should pay a good attention to each variable in order to achieve HR productivity at PT. Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia.
     
    Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah berangkat dari cenderung menurunnya produktivitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di PT. Anglo Eastern Management Indonesia pada rentang tahun 2013 hingga 2017, dimana terjadi fluktuasi hasil skor penilaian kerja pada karyawan level Asisten. Disatu sisi, industri perkebunan yang saat ini tengah menghadapi isu negatif baik dalam dan luar negeri sedikit banyaknya mempengaruhi industri perkebunan di Indonesia. Biaya produksi (termasuk biaya tenaga kerja) trendnya meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, sedangkan produktivitas cenderung tidak meningkat. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian bagaimana peran kompensasi terhadap produktivitas SDM di PT. Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini a) Melakukan analisa faktor utama yang mempengaruhi peningkatan produktivitas SDM di PT. Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia dikaitkan dengan kompensasi; b) Merumuskan strategi dan kebijakan kompensasi guna peningkatan produktivitas SDM di PT. Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasi, yakni jenis penelitian yang menggambarkan bertujuan mendeskripsikan secara sistematis, faktual dan akurat terhadap fakta-fakta dan sifatsifat suatu objek atau populasi tertentu dengan mendeteksi sejauh-mana koefisien korelasi antar faktor sebab (variabel bebas) dan faktor akibat (variabel terikat). Hasil penelitian ini menemukan secara keseluruhan, kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas SDM di PT. Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia, hal ini sesuai dengan hasil uji statistik analisa regresi berganda dengan menggunakan Uji F, dimana nilaiFhitung adalah 163,455, sementara Ftabel yaitu 2,72. Jika dibandingkan, maka nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel, sehingga dapat disimpulkan H1 diterima, ada hubungan positif keseluruhan variabel X dengan variabel Y, dengan kata lain kompensasi mempengaruhi produktivitas SDM di PT. Angloe Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia. Sedangkan secara parsial, ditemukan bahwa masing-masing variabel berpengaruh positif terhadap produktivitas SDM di PT. Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai Uji t masing-masing komponen (thitung X1= 8,618; thitung X2 = 1,675 dan thitung X3 = 2,071) lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,665). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan juga menaruh perhatian yang baik terhadap masing-masing variabel guna mencapai produktivitas SDM di PT. Anglo Eastern Plantation Management Indonesia.
