Validitas dan Reliabilitas Cigarette Dependence Scale-5 Versi Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

Background: Valid and reliable measurement of cigarette dependence is needed for research and clinical purposes. The Cigarette Dependence Scale-5 instrument is a short version consisting of 5 questions. This study aims to obtain an instrument to assess nicotine dependence objectively in the Indonesian version by conducting a validity and reliability test. Method: This study is a diagnostic study with a cross-sectional study approach to 600 subjects at the University of North Sumatra, Medan in May 2020 to June 2020 by taking a sample of purposive sampling and of 20 subjects to conduct testretest reliability. The test conducted in this study consisted of cross-culture, content validity test, concurrent validity, internal consistency reliability test and test-retest, determining cut-off values, sensitivity and specificity of the CDS-5 instrument. Results: The content validity test of CDS-5 instruments was I-CVI, S-CVI, CVR, S-CVI / UA and S-CVI / Ave. obtained 1.00 for each question item with a mean value of I-CVI of 1.00 which shows the validity of the contents of the items in this instrument is good. Concurrent validity of the Indonesian version of the CDS-5 using the eta correlation test comparing with the ICD-10 instruments obtained significant correlation results with a very strong correlation coefficient on the eta test of 0.859. Internal consistency reliability test of the Indonesian translated version of the CDS-5 instrument obtained from the Chronbach's alpha value of 0.949. The measurement of stability test for the test-retest obtained a satisfactory alpha reliability value, Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) 0.940 which showed a very good level of reliability and set the cut point taken at the cut-off point ≥ 14.5 with a sensitivity value of 98.6% and specificity of 86.9%. Conclusion: The strength of this study is that the content validity test, concurrent validity test, internal consistency reliability test and test-retest and the cut-off value and sensitivity and specificity values from the CDS-5 instrument version Indonesian with good test results. The limitations in the location of the wider sampling due to the condition of the Covid 19 pandemic at the time of the study

Latar Belakang: Diperlukan pengukuran ketergantungan rokok yang valid dan dapat diandalkan untuk tujuan penelitian dan klinis. Instrumen Cigarette Dependence Scale-5 merupakan versi singkat yang terdiri dari 5 pertanyaan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan instrumen untuk menilai ketergantungan nikotin secara objektif dalam versi Bahasa Indonesia dengan melakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas . Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian diagnostik dengan pendekatan crosssectional study terhadap 600 subyek di Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan pada bulan Mei 2020 hingga Juni 2020 dengan cara pengambilan sampel yakni purposive sampling dan terhadap 20 subyek untuk melakukan test-retest reliability. Uji yang dilakukan pada studi ini terdiri dari cross cultural, uji validitas isi, concurrent validity, uji reliabilitas konsistensi internal dan test-retest, menentukan nilai cut-off, sensitivias dan spesifisitas dari instrumen CDS-5. Hasil : Uji validitas isi instrumen CDS-5 adalah I-CVI, S-CVI, CVR, S-CVI / UA dan S-CVI /Ave. diperoleh 1.00 untuk masing-masing butir pertanyaan dengan nilai mean I-CVI adalah 1.00 yang menunjukkan kesahihan isi dari butir-butir dalam instrumen ini adalah baik. Uji validitas concurrent CDS-5 versi Bahasa Indonesia menggunakan uji korelasi eta membandingkan dengan instrumen ICD-10 diperoleh hasil korelasi yang signifikan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi yang sangat kuat pada uji eta sebesar 0.859. Uji reliabilitas konsistensi internal dari instrumen CDS-5 versi terjemahan Bahasa Indonesia yang diperoleh dari nilai chronbach’s alpha 0.949. Uji pengukuran stability untuk test-retest diperoleh nilai reliabilitas alpha yang memuaskan yakni Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) 0.940 yang menunjukkan adanya tingkat keandalan yang sangat baik dan menetapkan titik potong (cut-off) ≥ 14.5 dengan nilai sensitivitas sebesar 98.6% dan spesifisitas 86.9%. Kesimpulan: Kekuatan dari studi ini adalah telah dilakukan yakni uji validitas isi, concurrent validity, uji reliabilitas konsistensi internal serta test-retest dan mendapatkan nilai AUC dengan metode ROC dan diperoleh nilai cut-off serta nilai sensitivitas dan spesifisitas dari instrumen CDS-5 versi Bahasa Indonesia dengan hasil uji yang baik. Adapun kelemahan dari studi ini adalah keterbatasan dalam lokasi pengambilan sampel lebih luas lagi oleh karena kondisi pandemik Covid 19 saat studi dilakukan
